ARTEMİSİA SPİCİGERA K. KOCH TÜRÜNÜN VAN GÖLÜ ÇEVRESİNDEKİ POPULASYONLARININ MORFOLOJİK VE SİTOGENETİK YÖNDEN ARAŞTIRILMASI

Abstract

Bu araştırma, Van gölü çevresindeki Artemisia spicigera C. Koch ve bu çalışmada Türkiye için yeni olduğu tespit edilen Artemisia fragrans Willd. türlerine ait populasyonlar üzerinde 2010-2011 yılları arasında yapılan morfolojik ve karyolojik çalışmaları içermektedir. Araştırma morfolojik ve karyolojik olmak üzere iki aşamada gerçekleştirilmiştir. Morfolojik çalışmalar çerçevesinde değişik populasyonlardan toplanan bitki örneklerinin kök, gövde, yaprak, çiçek yapıları incelenmiştir. Karyolojik çalışmalarda ise bu türlere ait değişik populasyonlardan toplanan bitkilerin kromozom sayımları ve karyotip analizleri yapılarak idiyogramları çizilmiştir. Artemisia spicigera'nın çalışılan üç populasyonunda kromozom sayısı 2n = 18, Artemisia fragrans'ın çalışılan sekiz populasyonunda 2n=36, bir populasyonunda ise 2n=34 bulunmuştur. Artemisia frangrans'ta aneuploidi tespit edilmiştir.Her iki türe ait önemli bazı morfolojik özelliklerin populasyonlar seviyesindeki varyasyonları saptanmıştır. Ayrıca, bu türlerin daha iyi tanınması için ilk kayıt durumunda olan bazı morfolojik özellikler ile ilgili yeni bulgular elde edilmiştir.Anahtar kelimeler: Artemisia spicigera, Artemisia fragrans, Karyoloji, Asteraceae, Morfoloji

The Morphological and Karyological Investigation of Artemisia Spicigera C. Koch Populations that Araund the Van LakeThis research have been included the morphological and karyological studies on the populations around Van Lake of Artemisia spicigera C. Koch and Artemisia fragrans Willd. that identified as new to Turkey in this research between the 2010-2011 years. The roots, stems, leaves, flowers structures of the plant samples collected from different populations belong to these species were investigated within the framework of morphological studies. The chromosome counts and karyotype analysises of plants collected from different populations of these species were made and idiograms of ones were drawn In the karyological studies. The studied three populations of Artemisia spicigera have the same chromosome numbers that 2n = 18, and the studied ten populations of Artemisia fragrans have different chromosome numbers as nine of them are 2n = 36 and only one of them is 2n = 34 were found. Aneuploidy for Artemisia fragrans was identified.The significant variations of some morphological features in the level of populations of both species were determined. Also, the some new morphological features that are the first record for better recognition of these species were obtained by us.Key Words: Artemisia spicigera, Artemisia fragrans, Caryology, Asteraceae, Morphology
