SPOR EĞİTİMİ ALAN ÜNİVERSİTE ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN BİLGİ VE İLETİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİNE YÖNELİK TUTUMLARININ BELİRLENMESİ

Abstract

Bu araştırma günlük hayatımızdaki kullanımı giderek artan bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerinin, farklı sosyo-ekonomik yapıya sahip üniversite öğrencilerinin bu teknolojilere yönelik tutumlarının belirlenmesi amacıyla betimsel tarama modeli ile anket yöntemi kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Spor eğitimi alan öğrencilerin bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerini kullanma düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla Günbatar (2014) tarafından geliştirilerek, geçerlikik ve güvenirlik analizi yapılan "Bilgi ve İletişim Teknolojileri Tutum Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini; Türkiye'de spor eğitimi veren üniversitelerde eğitim gören öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemini ise basit tesadüfi örneklem seçimi kullanılarak seçilen, Türkiye'nin yedi bölgesinde yer alan üniversitelerin (Fırat Üniversitesi, Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi, Marmara Üniversitesi, Sıtkı Koçman Üniversitesi, Akdeniz Üniversitesi, Gazi Üniversitesi ve Dicle Üniversitesi) Spor Bilimleri Fakültesi/Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokullarında eğitim gören 1223 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma iki bölümde ele alınmıştır. Birinci bölümde bilgi ve iletişim teknolojileri ile ilgili literatür taramaları yapılmıştır. İkinci bölümde ise tutum ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 22.0 paket programında değerlendirilmiştir. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde frekans, yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma, one-way Anova, independent t-testi kullanılmıştır. Yapılan istatistiksel çözümlemelerin anlamlılık düzeyi p<0,05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Yapılan bu araştırmanın sonucuna göre; spor eğitimi alan üniversite öğrencilerinin bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerine yönelik tutumlarının olumlu düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir (p<0,05). Yazılım kullanımı ve sanal ortamda iletişim boyutlarının fakültede öğrenim gören öğrencilerin yüksekokulda eğitim gören öğrencilere göre tutumlarının daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir (p<0,05). Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerine yönelik tutumlarına bakıldığında, bilgisayar donanım boyutunda erkek öğrencilerinin tutumlarının kadın öğrencilere göre daha yüksek olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır (p<0,05). Yapılan bu araştırma spor eğitimi alan üniversite öğrencilerinin bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerine yönelik tutumlarının belirlenmesi açısından bir kazanım oluşturacağı öngörülmektedir.

This study was conducted to determine using the descriptive scanning model and the survey method the attitudes of university students who have different socio-economic structure towards information and communication technologies which are increasingly used in our everyday life. The "Attitude Scale of Information and Communication Technologies", which was developed by Günbatar (2014) and validated and tested for reliability, was used to determine the level of using information and communication technologies by the students who received sports education. The participants of the study, students who are studying at universities which provide sports training in Turkey. For sampling, the students studying of Sport Academies/School of Physical Education and Sports composed of 1223 students (Fırat University, Ondokuz Mayıs University, Marmara University, Sıtkı Kocman University, Akdeniz University, Gazi University and Dicle University) which are located in seven regions of Turkey's universities was randomly selected and the scale. The present study is divided into two sections. The first section consists of literature review related to the information and communication technologies. In the second section, attitude scale was used. The obtained data were evaluated with SPSS 22.0 package program. Frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, one-way Anova and independent t-test were used for data analysis. The significance level of statistical analyses was accepted as p<0,05. According to the result of this study, it was determined that university students attending sports education have higher attitudes towards information and communication technologies (p<0,05). It has been found out that, in terms of software usage and the communication dimensions in the virtual environment, the students who are studying at the faculties have higher attitudes than students studying at the colleges (p<0,05). When the considering of the attitude of students participating in the research to information and communication technologies, it was concluded that the attitudes of male students in computer hardware dimensions were higher than the female students (p<0,05). It is envisaged that this study will make contributions in determining the attitudes of university students attending sports education towards information and communication technologies.
