Doktora Tezi UZAY VEKTÖR DARBE GENİŞLİK MODÜLASYONU KULLANAN BEŞ SEVİYELİ İNVERTER TASARIMI VE UYGULAMASI Servet TUNCER Fırat Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Elektrik-Elektronik Mühendisliği Anabilim Dalı 2004, Sayfa: 95 Bu tezde, "Çok Seviyeli Inverter (ÇSİ)" topolojileri ve bu topolojilerde kullanılan farklı darbe genişlik modülasyon (DGM) tekniklerine değinilerek, uzay vektör DGM (UVDGM) tekniğinin uygulamasına yönelik yeni bir algoritma sunulmuştur. Bu UVDGM tekniğinde, bir koordinat dönüşüm matrisi kullanılarak referans vektörün içinde olduğu üçgenin belirlenmesi ve bu üçgenin köşelerinin tanımladığı komşu vektörler için iletim sürelerinin hesabı basit denklemler ile yapılmaktadır, inverter anahtarlama durumlarının seçimi için önerilen en küçük- en büyük (ek-eb) metodu sayesinde minimum anahtarlama geçişi sağlanılmıştır. Bu şekildeki UVDGM algoritması, lineer modülasyon indeksi bölgesinin tüm değerleri için oldukça elverişli olmasının yanı sıra; basit, çok hızlı ve sayısal gerçekleştirmesinin kolay olması gibi avantajlara da sahiptir. Önerilen UVDGM algoritmasının geçerliliğini test etmek için Matlab/simulink kullanılarak benzetimler yapılmış olup, deneysel sonuçlar ile doğrulanmıştır. Bu çalışmada kullanılan AC motor, bir 5-seviyeli kaskad inverter devresi tasarlanarak inverter çıkışından elde edilen değişken genlik ve frekanslı üç-fazlı gerilimlerle beslenmiştir. XISUMMARY PhD Thesis FIVE LEVEL INVERTER DESIGN AND APPLICATION WITH SPACE VECTOR PULSE WIDTH MODULATION Servet TUNCER Fırat University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering 2004, Page: 95 In this thesis, the multilevel inverters and their control techniques are examined and a new algorithm for the application of space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) technique is proposed. In the proposed SVPWM technique, a coordinate transformation matrix is used for the determination of triangle into which the end point of the reference vector falls. Simple equations are used for the dwell times of the nearest three vectors which are defined by the determined triangle corners. Minimum switching sequence was provided by using min-max technique for the selection of inverter switching states. Thus, the SVPWM algorithm became simple, fast, easy to implement and efficient for all values of the linear modulation index. To test the validity, the proposed SVPWM algorithm was simulated using Matlab/simulink. The simulation results were compared with the experimental results. For this aim, a 5-level cascade inverter was designed and variable amplitude and frequency three-phase output voltage of this inverter is applied to an AC motor.
