BİRDEN FAZLA SINIF ÖĞRETMENİ DEĞİŞEN İLKOKUL ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN YAŞADIKLARI SORUNLARA İLİŞKİN EĞİTİMCİLERİN GÖRÜŞLERİ

Abstract

Bu araştırma ile birden fazla sınıf öğretmeni değişen ilkokul öğrencilerinin yaşadıkları sorunları belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Ayrıca sınıf öğretmenlerinin öğrencilerini ilkokuldan mezun etmeden tayin istemelerinin nedenleri ve ortaya çıkan sorunları belirmek de amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2013-2014 eğitim-öğretim yılında Elazığ ilinde görev yapan 80 sınıf öğretmeni, 38 branş öğretmeni, 17 okul idarecisi ve 7 ilköğretim maarif müfettişi olmak üzere toplam 142 eğitimci oluşturmaktadır. Veriler, araştırmacının hazırladığı anketin katılımcılara uygulanması ile elde edilmiştir. Araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan anket sınıf öğretmenlerine, branş öğretmenlerine, okul idarecilerine ve ilköğretim maarif müfettişlerine uygulanmıştır. Veriler nicel olarak elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizi bilgisayar ortamında paket program kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın alt amaçları doğrultusunda bazı verilerin çözümlenmesinde frekans, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma tek yönlü varyans analizi, scheffe testleri kullanılmıştır. Hassas durumlarda lsd testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda eğitimcilerin görüşlerine göre, sınıf öğretmeni değişen öğrencilerin yeni öğretmenlerine alışmalarının zaman aldığı ve öğrencilerin akademik başarılarının düştüğü görülmektedir. Öğretmen değişimi öğrenci davranışı üzerinde olumsuz bir etkiye neden olmaktadır. Ayrıca öğrencilerin her durumda yeni gelen öğretmenleri ile eski öğretmenlerini karşılaştırdıkları da görülmüştür. Diğer yandan öğretmen değişimi sonrası öğrencilerin okul kurallarını daha çok ihlal ettiği görülmüştür. Sınıf öğretmeni değişiminin yeni gelen öğretmen üzerindeki etkisi incelendiğinde; öğretmenlerin yeni sınıfına alışmalarının zaman aldığı ve bir müddet sonra sınıfı benimsediği görülmüştür. Önceki öğretmenle kıyaslandığında yeni gelen öğretmenin diğer öğretmene göre daha başarılı olamadığı da görülmüştür. Sınıf öğretmeni değişiminin yönetim üzerindeki etkisi incelendiğinde ise; okul idarecilerinin öğretmeni değişen sınıfla ilgili sürekli problemler yaşadığı, okul idarecilerinin yeni öğretmen bulmakta zorlandıkları, tayini çıkan öğretmenin yerine ücretli öğretmen görevlendirildiği görülmüştür. Ayrıca ilkokulda öğretmenlerin sık sık değişmesinin eğitim sisteminin önemli bir problemi olduğu katılımcılar tarafından belirtilmiştir. Öte yandan öğrencilerini ilkokuldan mezun eden öğretmenlere ekstra hizmet puanı verilmesi gerektiği ve öğretmenlerin öğrencilerini ilkokuldan mezun edene kadar aynı yerde kalmalarının maddi ve manevi olarak desteklenmesi gerektiği görülmüştür.

With this research, it is aimed to identify the troubles of primary school students whose classroom teachers change more than once. On the other hand, it is also aimed to identify the causes of classroom teachers who want their appointment before graduating their students from the primary school and identify the problems that arise as a result of this. The sample of the research constitutes 80 classroom teachers, 38 branch teachers, 17 school administrators and 7 education inspectors of primary, a total of 142 educators who served during 2013-2014 academic year in the province of Elazığ. The data were obtained with the application of questionnaire, prepared by the researcher, to the participants. The questionnaire prepared by the researcher was applied to the classroom teachers, branch teachers, school administrators and education inspectors. The data were obtained quantitatively. The analysis of data was conducted by using package program in computer environment. To analyze some of the data in accordance with sub-objectives of the study, frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, independent samples t-test, one-way anova test, scheffe test were used. LSD test was used in critical situations. As a result of research students whose classroom teachers change take time to get used to their new teachers and academic success of these students decrease. Teacher exchange causes a negative effect on the student's behavior. In addition, students compare their former teachers with their new teachers in every situation. On the other hand, it is seen that students violate the school rules more after teacher exchange. When the effects of the classroom teacher exchange are examined on the new teacher; it is seen that it takes time to get used to new class and after a while teacher adapts to class. Compared to the former teachers, it is also seen that new teacher can't be more successful than the former teacher. When the effect of the classroom teacher's exchange is examined on administration; it is seen that administrators always have problems with the class whose teachers has changed, school administrators have difficulty in finding new teachers and paid teachers is employed instead of appointed teacher. Also it is indicated by the participants that the frequent changes of the teachers in primary school is a major problem of the education system. On the other hand, it is thought to be necessary that to the teachers whose students graduate from the primary school should be given extra points and teachers should be supported spiritually and materially to stay at the some place until their students graduate from the primary school.
