DİJİTAL İLLÜSTRASYON TEKNİĞİ İLE EFSANELERİN GÖRSELLEŞTİRİLMESİ (ELÂZIĞ ÇAYDA ÇIRA EFSANESİ UYGULAMASI)

Abstract

Geçmişten beri birçok metin, bireylere görsellik ile sunulmuştur. İllüstrasyon, metin ve fikirlerin tasviri için yaygın bir biçimde kullanılan resimleme türü ve aynı zamanda güçlü bir görsel anlatım aracıdır. Tanıtım ve reklam mecrasında görsel çözümler üreten illüstrasyon, yaygın bir biçimde kullanılır. Ayrıca illüstrasyon artık canlı ve sürekli gelişmekte olan güçlü bir sanat biçimidir. Zengin bir tarihe sahip bu antik mecra, her alanda imge ve mesajlar yaratabilen dinamik ve çağdaş bir iletişim alanıdır. İllüstrasyon alanında kullanılan terimlere ve tekniklere hâkim olmak, fikirlerin daha iyi biçimlenmesine ve belirginleşmesine katkı sağlayacaktır. İlkokul kitapları, gazeteler, dergiler ve birçok alanda kullanılan illüstrasyon tekniğinin temel amacı uzun ve öğretici metinlerin görsel hafızada yer etmelerini sağlamaktır. Bu çalışmada illüstrasyon tekniği ve çeşitliliğinden, illüstrasyonun öneminden, illüstrasyonun tarihi gelişiminden, illüstrasyon tekniği ile efsanelerin nasıl görselleştirildiğinden ve illüstrasyon yapılırken nelere dikkat edilmesi gerektiğinden bahsedilmiştir. Bir efsanenin dijital illüstrasyon tekniği ile uygulanması niteliği taşıyan bu araştırmanın örnekleminde Elazığ Çayda Çıra efsanesi göz önüne alınarak hazırlanmıştır. Bilimsel literatür taraması sonucunda elde edilen bulgular dikkate alınarak dijital illüstrasyon uygulama süreci ile ilgili sonuç ve önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Ayrıca illüstrasyonun önemsenmesi, sonraki araştırmalara ışık tutması ve kaynak oluşturması açısından dikkate alınarak hazırlanmıştır. For a long time, texts were presented to individuals by visuality. Illustration is a widely used limning technique to describe texts or ideas and also a powerful visual expression tool at the same time. Illustration, creating visual solutions in the field of publicity and advertising, is commonly adopted. Additionally, the illustration is a powerful form of art which is lively and constantly developing now. This ancient medium with its rich history is a dynamic and contemporary communication tool which can create images and messages in every field. Being familiar with the terms used in the field of illustration will contribute to better shaping and clarifying of ideas. The main purpose of the technique of illustration, which is used in primary school books, newspapers, magazines and many more fields, is to provide the memorization of long and educative texts on the visual memory. In this study, the topics of the technique of illustration and its varieties, the importance of illustration, the historical development of illustration, how legends were visualized with the technique of illustration and what to pay attention to while exercising illustration were addressed. The sample of the study, which possesses a quality of practicing a legend with the technique of digital illustration, was prepared by considering the Elazığ Çayda Çıra legend. The results and suggestions were presented about the application process for digital illustration by taking the findings acquired from the literature search into account. Moreover, the study was prepared with the aims of emphasizing the importance of illustration and both shed a light and create a resource for future studies.
