REFİK ERDURAN'IN ROMANLARINDA YAPI VE İZLEK

Abstract

Cumhuriyet Dönemi Türk Edebiyatının önemli temsilcilerinden birisi olan Refik Erduran, çok yönlü kişiliğiyle dikkati çeken bir sanatkârdır. Tiyatro, fıkra, roman, deneme ve anı gibi türlerde eserler veren Erduran, romancı yönüyle ön plana çıkarılarak romanları ekseninde değerlendirilmeye tabi tutulmuştur. Aydınlatıcılıktan ve ilkesellikten yana olan yazar romanlarında bireyden yola çıkarak toplumsala ulaşmayı hedefler. Çalışmamızı üç ana bölüm halinde düzenledik. Eserin ilk bölümünde yazarın hayatı, edebi kişiliği ve eserleri hakkında bilgiler verildi. Çalışmanın temelini oluşturan ikinci bölümde Refik Erduran'ın altı romanı yapı ve izlek bakımından ayrı ayrı inceledik. Romanların yapısal ve izleksel kurgusunu incelerken roman teorisinin yanı sıra tarih, sosyoloji, felsefe ve psikoloji gibi bilim dallarından yararlandık. Refik Erduran'ın romanlarında yabancılaşma, kendini gerçekleştirme, başkaldırı, aşk gibi bireysel sorunlar ve sömürü, yozlaşma, sosyal adaletsizlik gibi toplumsal sorunları izleksel açıdan değerlendirmeye çalıştık. Üçüncü bölümde, Refik Erduran'ın romancılığını sonuç kısmında aktardıktan sonra, hem yazarla hem de alanla ilgili kaynakça kısmına yer verdik.

Refik Erduran, one of the important representatives of the Turkish literature in the period of the Republic, is an artistic person who stands out with his versatile personality. Erduran, who has written in genres such as theater, jokes (fikra), novels, essays and memoirs, is evaluated based on his novels since he was always considered as a novelist. The writer who vouches for illuminance (aydınlatıcılık) and principles starts by the individual and aims to reach the society in his novels. We divided our work on three chapters. In the first chapter we discussed the life of the writer, his literal persona and work. In the second chapter that represents the basis of this work, we discussed the infrastructure of Refik Erduran's novels and examined them separately from a thematic (izlek) point of view. While studying the structural and thematic fiction of the novels, we used the novel's theory along with human sciences like history, sociology, philosophy and psychology. In the novels of Refik Erduran, we tried to evaluate individual problems like estrangement (yabancılaşma), self-realization (kendini gerçekleştirme) rebellion (başkaldırı) and love and social problems like abuse, corruption and social injustice from a thematic point of view. In the third chapter, after adapting the novelty (romancılığı) of Refik Erduran in the conclusion section, we presented the references related to the writer and the field.
