E³ UZAYINDA WEİNGARTEN VE LİNEER WEİNGARTEN TİPİ YÜZEYLER ÜZERİNE

Abstract

Bu çalışma dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm; çalışmanın giriş kısmı olup, üç boyutlu Öklid uzayında We- ingarten ve Lineer Weingarten tipli yüzeyler üzerinde yapılan çalışmalar hakkında literatürdeki bilgiler incelendi. İkinci bölümde; Weingarten ve Lineer Weingarten tipli yüzeyler için kullanılan temel tanımlar ve teoremler verildi. Üçüncü bölümde; üç boyutlu Öklid uzayında Weingarten ve lineer Weingarten tipli yüzeyler incelendi. Bu yüzeylerin ortalama ve Gauss eğrilikleri elde edildi. Daha sonra bu yüzeye örnek verilerek Mathematica programı yardımıyla şekilleri verildi. Dördüncü bölüm ise çalışmanın sonuç kısmıdır.

This thesis consist of four chapters. The first chapter has been devoted to the introduction. In this section it is given that informations about Weingarten and linear Weingarten surfaces in three dimensional Euclidean spaces in the literature. In the second chapter; fundamental definitions and theorems of Weingarten and linear Weingarten surfaces are given. In the third chapter Weingarten and linear Weingarten surfaces in three dimensional Euclidean spaces are given. Then, mean curvature and Gauss curvature of the surface is obtained. Also, example using the progam Mathematica is given. The fourth chapter has been devoted to the conclusion.
