BEDEN EĞİTİMİ VE SPOR YÜKSEKOKULUNUN TOPLAM KALİTE YÖNETİMİ BAKIMINDAN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ (FIRAT ÜNİVERSİTESİ ÖRNEĞİ)

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Fırat Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin ve öğretim elamanlarının memnuniyet derecelerinin saptanması ve yeterliliklerinin tespitidir. Araştırma evreni, Fırat Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi Spor Yüksekokulu?nda öğrenim gören 817 öğrenci ve Fırat Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi Spor Yüksekokulu?nda görev yapan 21 öğretim elemanından oluşmaktadır. Araştırmamızın örneklemi ise Fırat Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulu Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği, Spor Yöneticiliği ve Antrenörlük Eğitimi Anabilim Dalında öğrenim gören tesadüfi yöntemle seçilmiş 291?i erkek, 173?ü bayan olmak üzere 464 öğrenci ve 20 öğretim elamanından oluşmaktadır. Çalışma grubu; 3 farklı programda öğrenim gören birinci, ikinci, üçüncü ve dördüncü sınıf öğrencileridir. Çalışmada öğrencilere 14 bölüm ve 45 sorudan oluşan öğrenci memnuniyeti anketinden öğretim elamanları için ise 38 sorudan oluşan çalışan memnuniyeti anketinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları genel olarak değerlendirildiğinde; ana başlıklarıyla 3 grup problem tespit edilmiş ve çözüm yolları önerilmiştir. Bunlar; fiziki altyapı ve kullanılan araç ve gereçler, öğretim yöntemleri, başarının değerlendirme kriterleridir. Fırat Üniversitesinde Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulunun Toplam kalite yönetimi bakımından değerlendirilmesi sonucunda; eğitimde toplam kalitenin artırılması için sadece öğretim elemanı ve öğrenci odaklı düşünülmemesi, bunun yanı sıra fiziki ve sosyal imkânların da göz önünde bulundurulması gerektiği söylenebilir. The purpose of the study is to identify the satisfaction levels of the students and the staff of the Academy of Physical Education and Sports of Firat University. The population of the study comprises 817 students receiving education at the Academy of Physical Education and Sports of Firat University, and 21 academic staff working here. The sample of the study is composed of 464 students, with selected coincidental method 291 males and 173 females, studying at the departments of the Physical Education and Sports Teaching and the Sports Management and the Coaching of the Firat University, Academy of Physical Education and Sports, and 20 academic staff working here. The sample includes first, second, third and fourth year students studying at three different programs. A student-satisfaction questionnaire made up of 14 sections and 45 questions, and a staff-satisfaction questionnaire consisting of 38 questions have been implemented. When the results are evaluated in general terms, three groups of problem are identified and some solutions are suggested. These are the criteria of physical background, equipment?s, teaching methods and evaluation of success. As a result of the evaluation of the total quality management of Firat University, Physical Education and Sport Collage, it can say that the physical and social acilities as well as lecturer and student centered have to be considered to improve the total quality mamagement.
