SOSYOLOJİK AÇIDAN EBEVEYNLİK STİLLERİ VE ÇOCUĞUN SOSYALİZASYONU ÜZERİNE ETKİSİ

Abstract

Aile, çocuğun sosyalizasyon sürecinde içinde bulunduğu toplumun değer ve yargılarını çocuğa aktararak toplumsal devamlılığı sağlar. Çocuğun sosyalizasyon sürecinde ebeveyni büyük rol oynar. Doğduğu andan itibaren çocuğun etkileşim içerisinde olduğu, ilk iletişim kurduğu ve ilk ilişkilerde bulunduğu kişiler ebeveynidir. Çocuk, ebeveyninden gördüklerini taklit ederek öğrenir ve uygulayarak davranışa dönüştürür. Çocuğun ebeveyniyle olan ilişkisi sosyal ilişkilerinin temelini oluşturur. Ebeveynin çocuğunu yetiştirirken uyguladığı tutum ve davranışlar ebeveynlik stilleridir. Ebeveyn, uyguladığı ebeveynlik stilleriyle değer ve yargılarını çocuğuna aktarır. Ebeveynin benimsediği ebeveynlik stiline göre uyguladığı tutum ve davranışlar çocuğun sergilediği tutum ve davranışları belirler. Çünkü ebeveynlik stilleri ebeveyn ve çocuk arasındaki ilişkinin temelini oluşturur. Ebeveynin çocuğuyla olan ilişkisi ise çocuğun sosyal ilişkileri üzerinde etkilidir. Bu nedenle ebeveynlik stilleri toplumsal etkisinden dolayı önemlidir. Hazırlanan bu çalışmayla toplumsal etkisinden dolayı önemli olan ebeveynlik stillerinin çocuğun sosyalizasyonu üzerine olan etkilerinin neler olduğunun anlaşılması, toplumsal değerlerin aktarımı ve bu aktarımın günümüzde oluşturduğu gereksinimlerin farkına varılması ve bilimsel veriler sunarak araştırmacılara ve ebeveynlere yol gösterici olması amacıyla ebeveynlik stilleri sosyolojik olarak ele alınıp incelenmiştir. Yapılan bu araştırmanın sonucunda benimsenen ebeveynlik stillerinin çocuğun tüm hayatını etkileyip şekillendirdiği, olumlu ve olumsuz etkilerinin çocuğun toplumsal uyumu ve toplumsal devamlılığın sağlanması üzerinde anlamlı etkileri olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca olumlu ebeveynlik stillerinin uygulamalarının arttırılmasının, olumsuz ebeveynlik stillerinin uygulamalarının azaltılmasının ve toplumsal etkilerinden dolayı sosyoloji alanında daha fazla çalışmalar yapılmasının gerekliliği anlaşılmıştır.

The parents are the people with whom the child interacts, communicates first and establishes the first relations from the moment of birth. The child learns by imitating what he sees from his parents and transforms it into behavior by applying it. The child's relationship with his parent forms the basis of his social relationships. Attitudes and behaviors of parents while raising their children are parenting styles. Parents transfer their values and judgments to their children with the parenting styles they apply. The attitudes and behaviors that the parents adopt according to the parenting style they adopt determine the attitudes and behaviors exhibited by the child. Because parenting styles form the basis of the relationship between parent and child. The relationship of the parent with the child is effective on the social relations of the child. Therefore, it is important because of the social impact of parenting behaviors. In this study, parenting styles have been studied sociologically in order to understand the effects of parenting styles, which are important because of their social impact, on the socialization of the child, to transfer social values and to realize the needs created by this transfer today, and to guide researchers and parents by presenting scientific data. As a result of this research, it has been seen that the adopted parenting styles affect and shape the whole life of the child, and that their positive and negative effects have significant effects on the child's social adaptation and social continuity. In addition, it has been understood that it is necessary to increase the applications of positive parenting styles, to reduce the applications of negative parenting styles and to carry out more studies in the field of sociology due to their social effects.
