SPOR BİLİMLERİ ALANINDAKİ AKADEMİSYENLERİN ÇALIŞTIKLARI KURUMA YÖNELİK KRİZ YÖNETİMİ VE ÖRGÜTSEL DESTEK ALGILARININ ARAŞTIRILMASI

Abstract

Yaşadığımız bilgi çağında akademik kurumların toplumun gelişiminde çok önemli bir rol oynadığı açıktır. İnsan kaynağı herhangi bir organizasyonun en önemli unsurlarından biri olarak kabul edilmekte olup, akademik kurumların varlığını sürdürebilmesi ve faaliyetlerini başarıyla sürdürebilmesi için insan kaynağı kritik bir unsurdur. Birçok alanda olduğu gibi egzersiz bilimi alanındaki akademisyenler de çeşitli idari zorluklarla karşılaşabilmektedir. Bunlardan en yaygın olanı kriz yönetimi ve örgütsel destek kavramlarıdır. Bu fikirden yola çıkarak bu çalışma, spor bilimleri alanında çalışan akademisyenlerin görüşlerinden yola çıkarak ait oldukları kuruluşların kriz yönetimi ve örgütsel destek algılarını netleştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmanın evrenini Türkiye'deki devlet üniversitelerinde yükseköğretim ile ilgili spor bilimleri alanında görev alan 2315 akademisyen, örneklemi ise rastgele örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen 329 akademisyenden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma verilerini toplamak için kişisel bilgileri (yaş, cinsiyet, medeni durum, kurumda çalışma süreleri, akademik unvan), beş soruluk bir form oluşturulmuş ve kriz yönetiminin boyutunu ve algılanan kurumsal desteğin boyutunu içeren ölçeklerden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verilerini SPSS 22.00 programında analiz edilerek yüzde frekans tabloları oluşturulmuştur. Veriler, independent simple t testleri ve tek yönlü varyans testleri (ANOVA) kullanılarak analiz edildi. Kriz yönetimi ile örgütsel destek algısı ölçekleri arasındaki ilişkiyi ölçmek için Pearson Korelasyon testi, ölçeğin alt boyutları arasındaki etkileri belirlemek için doğrusal regresyon testleri kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak kriz yönetimi ölçeği ile spor alanında çalışan akademisyenlerin cinsiyet, yaş, deneyim yılı ve kıdemleri arasında istatiksel açıdan farklılıklar bulunmuştur. Ancak medeni durum değişkenlerinde ve kriz yönetimi ölçeğinin alt boyutlarında anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı görülmektedir. Örgütsel destek algısı ölçeği ile cinsiyet ve kıdem düzeyi arasında anlamlı farklılık görülürken, yaş, medeni durum, kıdem yılı değişkenleri arasında anlamlı farklılık görülmemektedir. Bunun yanı sıra yapılan pearson kolerasyon analizi sonucunda çalışmaya katılan akademisyenlerin kriz yönetimi ölçeği ile algılanan örgütsel destek ölçeği arasında pozitif ve anlamlı bir ilişkinin olduğu görülmektedir.

It is clear that in the information age we live in, academic institutions play a very important role in the development of society. Human resources are considered one of the most important elements of any organization, and human resources are a critical element for academic institutions to survive and continue their activities successfully. As in many fields, academics in the field of exercise science may encounter various administrative challenges. The most common of these are crisis management and organizational support concepts. Based on this idea, this study aims to clarify the perceptions of crisis management and organizational support of the organizations they belong to, based on the opinions of academics working in the field of sports sciences. The population of the research consists of 2315 academicians working in the field of sports sciences related to higher education at state universities in Turkey, and the sample consists of 329 academicians selected by random sampling method. To collect research data, personal information (age, gender, marital status, length of time working at the institution, academic title), a five-question form was created, and scales containing the dimension of crisis management and the dimension of perceived institutional support were used. Percent frequency tables were created by analyzing the data of the research in the SPSS 22.00 program. Data were analyzed using independent simple t tests and one-way variance tests (ANOVA). Pearson Correlation test was used to measure the relationship between crisis management and organizational support perception scales, and linear regression tests were used to determine the effects between the sub-dimensions of the scale. As a result, statistical differences were found between the crisis management scale and the gender, age, years of experience and seniority of the academicians working in the field of sports. However, it is seen that there is no significant difference in marital status variables and sub-dimensions of the crisis management scale. While there is a significant difference between the organizational support perception scale and gender and seniority level, there is no significant difference between age, marital status and years of seniority variables. In addition, as a result of the Pearson correlation analysis, it is seen that there is a positive and significant relationship between the crisis management scale and the perceived organizational support scale of the academicians participating in the study.
