Mustafa Kutlu'nun eserlerinde tüketim ve yoksulluk

Abstract

Bu tez, Mustafa Kutlu'nun eserlerinde yoksulluk, tüketim, çevre, modernleşme, küresel kapitalizm ve Anadolu Mayası kavramlarını ele alarak yazarın modern dünyanın manevi krizine karşı sunduğu ahlaki çözüm önerilerini incelemektedir. Araştırmada, Kutlu'nun hikâyelerinde tüketim kültürü ve çevre tahribatı konusunda yaptığı eleştiriler İslami iktisat ilkeleri, küresel kapitalizm, kanaat, Anadolu irfanı ekseninde değerlendirilmiştir. Kutlu'nun hikâyelerinde "tüketim"in yalnızca ekonomik bir kavram değil, insanın kimliğini ve ahlaki duruşunu belirleyen bir ideoloji olarak ele alındığını göstermektedir. Kutlu, eserlerinde üretim ve tüketim ilişkilerine temel bir çözüm olarak kanaat ekonomisini önermktedir. Sonuç olarak, Kutlu'nun eserleri modern insanın manevi yoksulluğuna karşı kanaat, paylaşım ve tevazu ilkeleri üzerine kurulu bir yaşam biçimi önermektedir. Bu yönüyle tez, sosyoloji-ahlak ilişkisine bir katkı sunmakta ve Anadolu Mayası kavramını yerli bir direniş modeli olarak yorumlamaktadır.

This thesis examines Mustafa Kutlu's works by analyzing the concepts of poverty, consumption, environment, modernization, global capitalism, and Anatolian spirit, and the moral solutions he offers to the spiritual crisis of the modern world. The research evaluates Kutlu's critiques of consumer culture and environmental destruction within the framework of Islamic economic principles, global capitalism, contentment, and Anatolian wisdom. It demonstrates that in Kutlu's stories, "consumption" is not merely an economic concept, but an ideology that determines a person's identity and moral stance. Kutlu proposes a contentment economy as a fundamental solution to the relationship between production and consumption in his works. In conclusion, Kutlu's works offer a way of life based on the principles of contentment, sharing, and humility as a counterpoint to the spiritual poverty of modern man. In this respect, the thesis contributes to the relationship between sociology and ethics and interprets the concept of Anatolian spirit as a model of indigenous resistance.
