İRAN-IRAK SAVAŞI (1980-1988)

Abstract

Çalışma 1980 ve 1988 yılları arasında yapılan İran-Irak Savaşı ekseninde taraf devletlerin savaştan önceki durumları, savaşa gerekçe oluşturan sebepler, savaş sırasında yapılan muharebeler, devam eden savaş sürecinde diğer devletlerin politikaları ve son olarak savaşın sonuçları üzerinde durmaktadır. Çalışmanın ilk bölümü taraf devletler olan İran ve Irak hakkında genel bilgiler içermektedir. Bu bölümde bu devletlerin tarihsel süreçlerine, siyasi, ekonomik ve toplumsal özelliklerine kısaca değinilerek savaşa etki eden hususların irdelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu bağlamda ikinci bölüm içeriğinde başlıklar halinde savaşın temel sebepleri incelenecektir. Üçüncü bölümde savaş sırasında taraflarca yapılan askeri taarruzlar ve harekâtların nasıl olduğu ve nasıl geliştiğine değinilecektir. Dördüncü bölümde savaş devam ederken ve bitiminde gerek bölge ülkelerinin gerekse bölge dışındaki devletlerin yürüttüğü politikaların neler olduğuna bakılacaktır. Son bölümde ise savaşın sonuçları ve bölgeye etkilerinin neler olduğunun ortaya çıkarılması amaçlanmıştır. This study is focused on the situation in the countries of conflicting parties before the outbreak of war, reasons behind the war, battles fought in the war, policies of other countries during the ongoing war and at the end, the consequences of the war within the context of Iran-Iraq War between 1980 and 1988. The first chapter of the study contains general information on parties of the war which are Iran and Iraq. In this chapter, the objective is to examine the aspects having impact on the outbreak addressing the historical background, political, economical and social characteristics of these countries. In this scope, the reasons of war is analyzed under the topics in second chapter. In the third chapter, the military attacks and operations by parties are reviewed. Fourth chapter is mainly focused on the policies of other countries not only in the same region but also outside of the region both during the war and after the war ended. It is aimed at presenting the consequences of the war and its impacts on the region in the final chapter.
