FEN VE TEKNOLOJİ DERSİNDE GELENEKSEL ÖĞRETİM YÖNTEMİ İLE BİLGİSAYAR DESTEKLİ ÖĞRETİM YÖNTEMLERİNİN ÖĞRENCİ BAŞARISINA ETKİSİ

Abstract

Bu araştırma, fen ve teknoloji dersinde geleneksel öğretim yöntemi ile bilgisayar destekli öğretim yöntemlerinin öğrenci başarısına etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla Adana ili Kozan ilçesi Şehit Öğretmen Ali Yıldırım İlköğretim okulu'nda bir çalışma yapılmıştır. Çalışma 2009?2010 eğitim öğretim yılında ilköğretim 6. sınıftaki 46 öğrenci ile yapılmıştır. Okuldaki iki şubeden 6A kontrol, 6B deney grubu olarak belirlenmiştir. `Madde ve ısı' konusunun öğretimi amacıyla deney grubu öğrencilerine, bilgisayar destekli öğretim yöntemi ile kontrol grubu öğrencilerine ise geleneksel öğretim yöntemi ile dersler anlatılmıştır. Her iki gruba uygulanan ön test ve son testlerden elde edilen verilerin analizinde SPSS programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, fen eğitiminde bilgisayar destekli öğretim yönteminin klasik öğretim yöntemine göre, öğrenci başarısını arttırmada daha etkili bir yöntem olduğu belirlenmiştir.

This research was done with the purpose of determining the effects of traditional methods and the computer-aided instruction method to student?s success at science and technology lesson.For this purpose, a study has been done at Şehit Öğretmen Ali Yıldırım Primary School in Kozan, Adana. This study was done with 46 students who were at 6th class in the primary school in 2009?20010 school year. Two classes at school was determined, 6A class as a control group and 6B class as an experiment group. While experiment group students were taught with the computer-aided instruction method, control group students were taught with the traditional instruction method for the aim of the teaching of `the matter and temperature? subject. SPSS program was used in the analysis of data which attained in pretests and posttests applied to both groups. At the results of the research, the computer-aided instruction method at science aducation compared, to the traditional instruction method at sicience education has been determined to be more effective method at enhancing student?s success.
