TARİHÎ SÜREÇ İÇERİSİNDE DİCLE VE FIRAT NEHİRLERİ HAKKINDA KISA BİR DEĞERLENDİRME

Abstract

Nehirlerin insanlık tarihinde her zaman önemli roller oynadığı ve sundukları fırsatlarla, insan nüfusunun yoğunlaştıkları yerler oldukları bilinmektedir. Bu cümleden olmak üzere tarihin her döneminde, Dicle ve Fırat nehirlerin bölgeye önemli ekonomik katkılarının olduğu söylenebilir. Bunun yanı sıra bu nehirlerin bulunduğu bölgenin tarihin her döneminde siyasî açıdan da büyük bir önem taşıdığı bilinmektedir. Geçmişte bu derecede önemli olan ve Türklerin Yakındoğu’ya gelişlerinden itibaren Türk tarihini ve kültürünü doğrudan etkileyen bu bölgenin günümüzde ve gelecekte de, Türkiye’nin güvenliği açısından büyük bir önem arz ettiği ve edeceği de aşikârdır. Bu yazımızda bu nehirlerin tarihî süreç içerisindeki durumları kısaca her iki açıdan da değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır

It is known that rivers always play an important role in the history of humanity and they are the places where the human population is concentrated with the opportunities they offer. It can be said that the Tigris and Euphrates rivers have important economic contributions to the region in every period of history.In addition, it is known that the region where these rivers are located is of great political importance in every period of history.The first great civilizations of the world were established in Mesopotamia, which was irrigated by the Euphrates and Tigris.In the past, this is very important since the arrival of Turks and Turkish history and culture of the Near East also directly affect the present and future of this region, in terms of great importance that Turkey’s security and would also be obvious.In this article, the status of these rivers in the historical process is briefly evaluated from both angles
