POSTMODERN BİR İFŞA ALANI OLARAK SOSYAL MEDYA

Abstract

Tarihsel olarak yaşamı dönüştürülebilir kılan sistematik yapı her dönemi bir önceki deneyimler sürecinin toplamıyla yeni bir rotaya doğru sürüklemektedir. Yirmi birinci yüzyılın toplumsal inşa süreci modernizmden postmodernizme doğru bir yol izlerken; kamusal alanı katı, buyurgan ve zaman zaman baskıcı olan politik anlayıştan; demokrasi, eşitlik, özgürlük ve yönetilebilir bir toplum idealine yöneltmiştir. Küreselleşen dünyada kapitalizm, toplumsal yaşamı yeni bir alana doğru adım adım yaklaştırmasının yanında internetin sunmuş olduğu iletişim, haberleşme ve sanal yaşam alanlarında görünür olabilme imkânı modernizmin sınırlarının ötesine geçmeyi başarmıştır. Dünyanın her yerinde insanlar varoluşunun realitesiyle sanal kimliği arasında yeni bir bağ kurmaya başlamıştır. Ağ üzerinden oluşturulan sosyal, kurumsal ve ekonomik ilişkiler neredeyse hiçbir geleneksel sistemin başaramayacağı düzeyde yüksek ve hızlı bir performansa dönüşmektedir. Bu çalışmada dijital yaşamın temel karakteristik yapısına dönüşen ve haberleşme, örgütlenme, kişisel ve kurumsal bir yapı haline gelen sosyal medyanın toplumsal yaşamdaki etkileri ve biyo-politik iktidar alanına sunduğu katkıları üzerinde durulacaktır.

Historically, the sistematic structure that makes life transformable drags every period towards a new route with the sum of the previous experience process. While the social construction process the 21st century has led to a path from modernism to postmodernism, it has turned the public sphere from a rigid, commanding and sometimes oppressive political understanding into a democracy, equality, freedom and a manageable society ideal. In the globalizing world, capitalism has succeeded in moving beyond the boundaries of modernism within the chance of being visible in the communication, telecommunication and virtual life spaces of the Internet, as well as taking social life towards a new field step by step. In all parts of the world people have begun to establish a new connection between the reality of their existence and their virtual identity. The social, intitutional and economic relations created over the network are transformed into a high and fast performance that almost no traditional system can achieve. In this study, the effects of social media on social life, transforming into a basic characterictic structure of digital life and becoming a communication, organization, personal anda intitutional structure, and its contribution to the field of bio-political power will be emphasized.
