ÜRETİM ALANINDA FAALİYETTE BULUNAN AİLE İŞLETMELERİNİN EKONOMİK VE FİNANSAL YAPISININ İNCELENMESİ: ELAZIĞ İLİNDE YAPILAN BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Abstract

Bu çalışmada "Aile İşletmeleri'nin genel özelliklerinden bahsederek Elazığ ilinde bulunan aile işletmelerinin ekonomik ve finansal yapılarını ortaya koymayı hedeflemektedir. Bu tezde öncelikle çalışmanın teorik ve kavramsal altyapısı yerli ve yabancı kaynaklar kullanarak kurulmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmamız Elazığ ilinde kurulu aile işletmelerinin ekonomik ve finansal yapılarının güçlü olmaları ve işletmelerin çoğunun aile işletmesi olması hasebiyle şirketlerin ulusal ve uluslararası rekabette başarı gösterebilmesi için aile işletmeleri ile ilgili birçok yönetim açısından önemli olan tedbirlerin alınmasının kaçınılmaz olduğunun görülmesi gerektiğini vurgulamaya çalışmaktadır. Aynı pencereden bakarsak bu çalışma aile işletmelerine ilişkin bilimsel bilgi birikiminin artmasının yanı sıra ve dolayısıyla akademik kesimlerde bu kuruluşlara ilişkin yapılacak olan çalışmalarda sağlıklı bir altyapının oluşmasına katkı sağlarken, öbür taraftan uygulayıcılara yol gösterici bir niteliğe sahip olacağı düşünülmektedir. Aile işletmelerinin kültürel özellikleri, kuruluş ve gelişim dönemleri incelenmiş ve daha sonra anket çalışmasında yapılan mevcut analizler değerlendirilmiştir. Şirket türleri ve özellikleri, aile işletmelerinin tanımı, özellikleri avantajları, dezavantajları, ülke ve dünya ekonomisi üzerindeki yeri gibi konular üzerinde açıklamalarda bulunulmuştur.Tezin, alan araştırmasının kapsamını Elazığ ilinde faaliyet gösteren aile işletmeleri oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma için anket uygulaması Elazığ Ticaret ve Sanayi Odasına bağlı şirketlerin sahiplerine ve bu şirketlerde aktif olarak çalışan personele uygulanmıştır. Anketler aile işletmesi kapsamındaki 201 işletme sahibine ve 201 personele dağıtılmıştır. Araştırmanın alan çalışması aile işletmelerinde çalışan işletme sahibi ve yönetici personel üzerinde yapıldığı için iki farklı anket formu düzenlenmiştir. Birinci grup sorular, ankete katılan işletmelerin sosyodemografik özelliklerini ortaya koymaya yönelik verileri elde etmek için, İkinci grup sorular işletmenin yönetim, ekonomik ve finansman bakımından değerlendirilmesini ölçmeye yönelik olarak hazırlanmıştır.

In the study I try to explain the general features of family businesses in Elazığ province, economic and financial structures by mentioning the general features of "Family Businesses". In this thesis, firstly the theoretical and conceptual framework of the study was tried to be established by using more local resources. In this work I have done, it is emphasized that family businesses established in Elazığ province are strong in economic and financial structures and most of the enterprises are family businesses, so it is necessary to see that it is inevitable to take important measures in terms of many administrations related to family businesses so that companies can achieve national and international competitiveness. I think that this study, which I have done from the same window, will contribute to the formation of a healthy infrastructure in the studies that will be done in academical sections in addition to the increase of the scientific knowledge about family businesses, and on the other hand I will have a guiding qualification for practitioners. The cultural characteristics, organization and development periods of the family businesses were examined without much deliberation and then the existing analyzes made in the questionnaire study were evaluated. The types and characteristics of companies, definition of family businesses, advantages of features, disadvantages, place on country and world economy have been explained. The scope of the research is composed of family businesses operating in Elazığ province. Questionnaire application for the study Employees of the companies affiliated to Elazığ Chamber of Commerce and Industry and actively working in these companies were implemented. The questionnaires were distributed to 201 companies and 201 employees within the scope of family business. Two different questionnaire forms were prepared because the fieldwork of the research was made on the business owner and the executive staff working in family businesses. The first group of questions were prepared to obtain data on the socio-demographic characteristics of the respondents. The second group is aimed at assessing the management, economic and financial evaluation of the questionnaire.
