Zümre Öğretmenler Kurulu Toplantılarının Mesleki Gelişim Bağlamında İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı zümre öğretmenler kurulu toplantılarının mesleki gelişime katkısını öğretmen görüşlerine göre incelemektir. Araştırma tarama modelinde hazırlanmıştır. Araştırma verileri Elazığ il merkezinde yer alan farklı kademelerdeki okullarda çalışan 113 öğretmenden toplanmıştır. Veriler araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen zümre öğretmenler kurulu çalışmalarını değerlendirme anketi ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ortalama, standart sapma gibi betimsel istatistik tekniklerinin yanında bağımsız gruplar t testi, tek yönlü ANOVA ve Scheffe testleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre zümre öğretmenler kurulu toplantılarının öğretmenlerin mesleki gelişimine katkısı düşüktür. Zümre öğretmenler kurulu toplantılarında öğretime ilişkin deneyimlerin paylaşımında erkek öğretmenler lehine anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Mesleki eserleri inceleme, güncel kanunları ve mevzuatı inceleme, okul ve çevresinin özelliklerini inceleme, öğretmenlerin gelişimini desteklemek için yapılacak etkinlikler planlama gibi bazı maddelerde kıdemi 1-5 yıl arasında olanlar lehine anlamlı farklılık olduğu görülmüştür. Öğretim kademesi değişkenine göre gruplar arası anlamlı farklılık bulunmamıştır. Araştırma sonuçları zümre öğretmenler kurulu toplantılarının mesleki işbirliğini ve paylaşımı geliştirecek şekilde yapılması gerektiğini göstermektedir

The purpose of this research is to examine the contribution of the branch teachers committee meetings to the professional development according to teachers’ opinion. The research was prepared in survey model. The research data were collected from 113 teachers working in different levels of schools in Elazığ. The data were collected through a questionnaire developed by the researchers. Mean, standard deviation, independent groups t test, one way anova and Scheffe tests were used in the analysis of the data. According to the results of the research, the contribution of branch teachers committee meetings to the teachers' professional development is low. A significant difference was found in favor of male teachers in the sharing of teaching experiences in branch teachers committee meetings. Significant differences were found in favor of those who had some 1-5 year seniority, in some item such as examining professional works, reviewing current laws and legislation, examining school and its characteristics, and planning activities to support teachers' development. There was no significant difference between groups according to educational level variable. The results of the research show that the branch teachers committee meetings need to be carried out in a way that promotes professional collaboration and professional sharing of teachers
