BEDEN EĞİTİMİ ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN YÜZ YÜZE VE UZAKTAN HİZMET İÇİ EĞİTİM ETKİNLİKLERİNE YÖNELİK ALGILARI

Abstract

Bu araştırma, beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin yüz yüze ve uzaktan hizmet içi eğitimlere algılarını ölçmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma amaçları dikkate alındığında; bu araştırmanın tarama modelinde yürütülmesine karar verilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda, araştırmanın evreni 2022-2023 eğitim ve öğretim yılında Elazığ ilindeki Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı okullarda görev yapan beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi ise evren içindeki 321 bireyin katılımıyla belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri, anket yöntemi ile toplanmış olup nicel türdedir. Edinilen verilerin analiz edilmesi sürecinde lisanslı SPSS-25 programından yararlanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler, bağımsız gruplar t testi, ANOVA ve Pearson Korelasyon Analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonunda, katılımcıların uzaktan hizmet içi eğitim faaliyetlerini daha ekonomik bulduğu, ulaşılabilir ve haberdar olunması kolay şeklinde algıladığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Ayrıca, uzaktan hizmet içi eğitim etkinliklerine katılım konusunda istekli olma, bu eğitimlerin daha fazla iletişim imkanı vermesi ve üst kademe görevlere daha iyi hazırlaması noktasında katılımcıların düşük düzey algıya sahip oldukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ek olarak, uzaktan hizmet içi etkinliklerine yönelik algının çalışılan okul türü, mesleki kıdem, mezuniyet ve daha önce katılım sağlanan hizmet içi eğitim türüne göre anlamlı bir fark oluşturmadığı belirlenmiştir. Fakat cinsiyete göre elde edilen sonuçlar, kadınların uzaktan hizmet içi eğitim etkinliklerine dair algılarının erkeklerden anlamlı düzeyde yüksek olduğunu göstermektedir. Son olarak, beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin yüz yüze ve uzaktan hizmet içi eğitimlerine ilişkin algılarına dair toplam puan ile katılıma istekliliğe yönelik algı, hizmet içi eğitimin işlevi ve uygulamaya yönelik algı boyutları arasında pozitif yönde ve anlamlı düzeyde ilişki olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Katılımcı öğretmenlerin görüşlerinden hareketle, uzaktan hizmet içi eğitimlerinin pratik olması sebebiyle yaygınlaştırılması; fakat içeriklerinin zenginleştirilmesi ve niteliğinin yükseltilmesine dair önerilerde bulunulabilir.

This research aims to measure the perceptions of physical education and sports teachers about face-to-face and distance in-service training. Considering the research objectives; It was decided to conduct this study in a survey model. Accordingly, the population of the research was limited to physical education and sports teachers working in schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in Elazığ province in the 2022-2023 academic year. The sample of the research was determined with the participation of 321 individuals within the population. The data of the research were collected by survey method and are of quantitative type. SPSS-25 program was used in the process of analyzing the obtained data. Descriptive statistics, independent groups t test, ANOVA and pearson correlation analysis were used to analyze the data. At the end of the research, it was concluded that the participants found distance in-service training activities more effective in terms of cost-efficiency and perceived them as accessible and easy to be informed about. In addition, it was concluded that the participants had a low level of perception in terms of being willing to participate in distance in-service training activities, providing more communication opportunities and better preparing them for higher-level positions. In addition, it was defined that the perception of distance in-service activities did not make a noteworthy difference according to the type of school studied, professional seniority, graduation and the type of in-service training previously attended. However, the results obtained by gender show that women's perceptions of distance in-service training activities are significantly higher than men. Finally, it was concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between the total score of physical education and sports teachers' perceptions of face-to-face and distance in-service training and the perception of willingness to participate, the function of in-service training and the perception dimensions of practice.Based on the opinions of the participating teachers, distance in-service training should be disseminated because it is practical; However, suggestions can be made to enrich their content and improve their quality.
