ELAZIĞ ARKEOLOJİ VE ETNOGRAFYA MÜZESİNDEKİ BAZI AHŞAPESERLERİN SANATSAL ÖZELLİKLERİ

Abstract

Bu tez çalışması nitel araştırma yöntemi ile yapılmıştır. Elazığ Arkeoloji ve Etnografya Müzesinde bulunan çoğunluğu ev mobilyası, eşya kutusu, takunya olmak üzere çeşitli amaçlar için yapılmış 42 adet ahşap eser ele alınmıştır. Çalışmayı yaparken teze konu seçilmiş eserlerin süsleme teknikleri, yapıldığı dönemleri, durumları kayıt altına alınarak bu alanda araştırma yapacak araştırmacılara kaynaklık etmesi amaçlanmıştır. Tez, altı bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde konunun tanımı, önemi, amacı, sınırları, yöntemi, materyal ve metot; ikinci bölümde Elazığ tarihi ile Elazığ Arkeoloji ve Etnografya Müzesine değinilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde; ahşabın yapısı, ahşap yapımında kullanılan ağaçlar, bu ağaçların bozulması ve korunması, ahşap süsleme tekniklerinin tarihsel gelişimi, üretim ve süsleme tekniklerine ana hatlarıyla yer verilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde, belirlenen eserlerin kataloğu oluşturulmuştur. İncelenen eserlerin özellikleri, betimlemeleri ve bugünkü durumlarına yer verilmiştir. Değerlendirme ve sonuç bölümünde; eserlerin çoğunun müzeye satın alınma yöntemiyle geldiği tespit edilmiştir. Mobilya üretimlerinin çoğunluğu çakma tekniğinde yapılmıştır. Sedef ve oyma gibi ahşap tekniklerinde süslenmiş eserler çoğunluktadır. Yine eserler arasında bulunan bir körüğün üzerindeki Osmanlıca yazılı hicri tarih ilk kez okunup kayda alınmıştır. Ahşap süreç içinde pek çok alanda karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Kolay erişilen bir malzeme olması ahşabın kullanım yelpazesini genişletmiştir. Kullanım alanının genişlemesi ahşap üzerinde fazlaca çalışmayı da beraberinde getirmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Elazığ, Arkeoloji, Etnografya, Ahşap, Süsleme

This thesis study was conducted with the qualitative research method. 42 wooden artifacts in Elazig Archeology and Ethnography Museum, most of which were made for various purposes such as home furniture, storage boxes, clogs, were handled. While conducting the study, it was aimed to record the decoration techniques, periods and conditions of the selected works as the subject of the thesis, and to be a resource for researchers who will conduct research in this field. . The thesis consists of six chapters. In the introduction, the definition of the subject, its importance, purpose, limits, method, material and method; In the second part, the history of Elazig and the Elazig Archeology and Ethnography Museum are mentioned. In the third part; The structure of wood, the trees used in wood construction, the deterioration and protection of these trees, the historical development of wood decoration techniques, production and decoration techniques are given. The features, descriptions and current situations of the examined works are included. In the evaluation and conclusion section; It has been determined that most of the artifacts come to the museum by purchasing method. Most of the furniture productions are made in the technique of hammering. The works decorated in wood techniques such as mother-of-pearl and carving are in the majority. Again, the Hijri date written in Ottoman on a bellows was read and recorded for the first time. Wood appears in many areas in the process. Being an easily accessible material has expanded the usage range of wood. The expansion of the usage area has brought with it a lot of work on wood.
