2018 ALMANCA ÖĞRETİM PROGRAMI'NIN A1.1 DÜZEYİNDE, DÖRT TEMEL DİL BECERİSİ BAĞLAMINDA, UYGULANABİLİRLİĞİNE İLİŞKİN ÖĞRETMEN VE ÖĞRENCİ GÖRÜŞLERİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Bu araştırma, 2018 Almanca Öğretim Programı'nın dört dil becerisi dikkate alınarak oluşturulmuş programın uygulanabilirliği ile ilgili öğretmen ve öğrenci görüşlerinin belirlemek üzerine yapılmıştır. Çalışmaya Millî Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı Elazığ il merkezinde yer alan Fen Liseleri, nitelikli Anadolu Liseleri, Anadolu Liseleri ve düz liselerin yer aldığı 18 lise katılmıştır. Anket soruları bu okullarda görev yapan Almanca Öğretmenlerine ve eğitim alan 9.sınıf,10.sınıf ve 11.sınıflara uygulanmıştır. Anket maddeleri 2018 Almanca Öğretim Programında yer alan A1.1 seviyesinde, 9. Sınıfların dört dil becerisini kapsayan kazanımlardan oluşmaktadır. Anket 33 öğretmene ve 1700 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. İstatistiksel analizler için paket programlardan SPSS 25.0 kullanılmıştır. Anket için cevap bölümünde 5'li Likert ölçeği faydalanılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan okulların, çoğunlukla 9.sınıfta kullandığı ders ve çalışma kitabı olarak "Wie Bitte" adlı kitap seçilmiştir. Araştırmada öğretmen ve öğrenciler arasında dört dil becerisinin tamamında istatiksel olarak önemli farklılıklar görülmüştür. Öğrencilerin tamamına yakını dört dil becerisini değerlendirirken orta seviyede olduğu ile ilgili görüş bildirmişlerdir. Ancak öğretmenler bu konuda daha olumlu değerlendirmede bulunmuş ve dört dil becerisini içeren kazanımların iyi seviyede öğrenildiği konusunda fikir beyan etmişlerdir. Üniversitelerde yapılan Almanca dil seviyesi sınavlarında elde edilen sonuçlar öğretmenleri değil, öğrencilerin değerlendirmelerini desteklemektedir. Anket bulguları da dikkate alınarak 2018 Almanca Öğretim Programı dört dil becerisi bağlamında ve uygulanabilirliği doğrultusunda yetersiz kalmıştır. Kısa bir sürede program güncellenmeli uzun vadede ise yeni bir Almanca Öğretim Programı oluşturulmalıdırThis research was conducted to determine the opinions of teachers and students regarding the applicability of the program,which was created by taking into account the four language skills of the 2018 German curriculum.18 high schools, including Science High Schools, Qualified Anatolian High Schools, Anatolian High Schools and Regular High Schools located in the city center of Elazığ affiliated to the Ministry of National Education,participated in the study.The survey questions were applied to German teachers working in these schools and to the 9th,10th and 11th grade students receiving education.The survey items consist of achievements covering the four language skills of 9th grades at A1.1leved in the 2018 German Curriculum.The survey was applied to 33 teachers and 1700 students. SPSS 25.0, one of the package programs,was used for statistical analyses. A 5- point Likert scale was used in the response section of the survey.The book named "Wie Bitte" was selected as the textbook and workbook used by the schools participating in the research, mostly in the 9th grade . In the study,statistically significant differencec were observed between teachers and students in all four language skills. Almost all of the students stated that they were at an average level when evaluating the for language skills. However, teachers made a more positive assessment on this issue and stated that the achievements that included the four language skills were learned at a good level.The results obtained in the German language level exams held in universities support the evaluations of the students, not the teachers. Considering the survey findings, the 2018 German curriculum was inadequate in terms of the four language skills and its applicability. The program should be updated in a short time and a new German curriculum should be created in the long term.
