Abstract

Uzun bir süre tarih sahnesinde yer alıp dönemin en büyük imparatorluğu olan Pers İmparatorluğu'nun tarih sahnesindeki siyasi hayatı, çalışma kapsamında ele alınmıştır. Kimi araştırmacılara göre dünyanın bilinen ilk imparatorluğu olarak kabul edilen Pers İmparatorluğu, tarih sahnesine MÖ 700'lü yıllarda çıkmıştır. Pers İmparatorluğu, uygulamış olduğu hoşgörü politikası, ilişki içerisinde bulundukları dönemin uygarlıklarının siyasi duruşlarını iyi tahlil etmeleri, askeri dehalarını iyi kullanmaları ve uygulamış oldukları başarılı siyasi politika yöntemleriyle hızlı bir biçimde genişlemiş olup Anadolu coğrafyasının hâkimiyetini uzun bir süre üstlenmiştir. Birçok kavmi bir arada tutarak tek bir çatı altında büyük bir imparatorluk kurarak sınırlarını çok geniş bir alana yayan Pers İmparatorluğu, II. Kyros ile başlayıp Makedonyalı Büyük İskender'in Pers hâkimiyetine son vermesine kadar devam etmiştir. Araştırmalarda dönemin birincil kaynaklarından istifade edilmiş ayrıca çağdaş yorumcuların fikirleri de çalışma kapsamında ele alınmıştır. Bu bilgiler ışığında imparatorluğun kuruluşu, genişleme sahası ve uygulamış olduğu siyasi politika, elde edilen bilgiler ışığında anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır.

Political life in the history scene of the Persian Empire that on the stage of history for a long time and the greatest empire of the time, was covered in the scope of the study. According to some researchers, the Persian Empire which is first known empire of the world went out on the stage of history in 700 B.C. years. The Persian Empire expanded quickly and took over the dominance of the Anatolian geography for a long time with the tolerance policy they applied, the good analysis of the political stances of the civilizations of the period in which they were involved, the good use of military deities, and the successful political policy methods they practiced. The Persian Empire, which held many tribes together and built a great empire under a single roof starting with II. Kyros, spreading its borders over a very wide area, continued until Macedonian Alexander the great ended his Persian domination. In the researches, the primary sources of the period were exploited, and the ideas of contemporary commentators were also considered in the scope of the study. In the light of this information, the establishment of the empire, the enlargement area and the political policy it applied were tried to be explained in the light of the information obtained.
