ATRP METODUNDA KULLANILAN KALKON İÇERİKLİ BAŞLATICI SENTEZİ VE POLİMER UYGULAMALARI

Abstract

Bu tez çalışmasında öncelikle literatüre uygun şekilde kalkon bileşikleri sentezlenmiştir. Daha sonra sentezlenen kalkon bileşikleri, brom asetilbromür ile tepkimeye sokularak ATRP metodunda kullanılan başlatıcılar sentezlenmiştir. Sentezlenen tüm bileşiklerin karakterizasyonları FT-IR ve NMR spektrometreleri ile yapılmıştır. Son aşamada ise sentezlenen başlatıcıların ATRP metodunda kullanılabilirliği incelenmiş ve bazı ticari monomerlerin polimerleştirilmesinde kullanılmıştır. Sentezlenen başlatıcıların polimerleşme reaksiyonlarında kullanılabilir olduğu kanıtlanmıştır.

In this thesis study, chalcone compounds were first synthesized in accordance with the literature. Then, the synthesized chalcone compounds were reacted with bromine acetylbromide to synthesize the initiators used in the ATRP method. Characterization of all synthesized compounds was made with FT-IR and NMR spectrometers. In the last stage, the usability of the synthesized initiators in the ATRP method was examined and they were used in the polymerization of some commercial monomers. It has been proven that the synthesized initiators can be used in polymerization reactions.
