20. YÜZYIL ERZURUM TARİHİ VE İNANÇ COĞRAFYASI

Abstract

Dinler Tarihi Yüksek Lisans tez konusu olarak "XX. Yüzyıl Erzurumlu Tarihi ve İnanç Coğrafyası" adı altında yapılan bu araştırma, iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Tezin birinci bölümünde Cumhuriyet Dönemi'ne kadar İl'in ve bağlı ilçelerin tarihi ele alınarak incelenmiştir. Tezin ikinci bölümünde de İl'in XX. yüzyıla kadarki nüfus seyri ile beraber günümüz inanç coğrafyası çıkarılmıştır. Bu bölümdeki çalışmalar, bir alan çalışması şeklinde yürütülmüştür. İl genelinde nüfusun dinlere ve mezheplere göre durumları araştırılıp, Müslüman nüfusun da mezhep durumları ve nüfus potansiyelleri belirtilmiştir. Ayrıca il genelindeki tarikatlar, cemaatler, ziyaret ve adak yerleri hakkında da bilgi verilmiştir. Yaptığımız çalışmaya göre ildeki gayr-i Müslimlerin Cumhuriyet Dönemi'ne kadar varlıklarını devam ettirdiklerini görmekteyiz. Ancak, İTde yaşayan gayr-i Müslim nüfusun bir kısmı Kurtuluş Savaşı'ndan hemen sonra, geri kalanı da Cumhuriyet'in ilk yıllarında İli terk etmiştir. Erzurum İli'nin günümüzdeki nüfusunun tamamı Müslümanlardan oluşmaktadır. Bu Müslüman nüfusun % 03.8'ini Aleviler, % 24.4'ünü Şafiler ve % 71.8'ini ise Hanefiler oluşturmaktadır. Günümüzde varlığını devam ettiren Nakşibendiilik, Kadiriilik, Rıfaiilik ve Bektaşiilik(Alevilik) gibi tarikatlara mensup insanların bulunduğu tesbit edilmiştir.- Ayrıca halk arasında Süleymancı ve Nurcu diye bilinen cemaatlerin kurdukları vakıf ve derneklerle il genelinde faaliyetlerini aktif bir şekilde yürüttükleri görülmüştür. SUMMARY This study, wich was done on the history and belief geography of Erzurum in the 20'ieth century as a master Thes is in the field of history of Religions, Consists of two parts, tn the first part of study, it was searched the history of the city end its towns until the foundation of Turkish Republich. In the second part, the trend for the increase of population until the 20'ieth century and the belief geography of the city in these days were searched the survey was done as a field study. It was estimated the structure of the population accarding to the religion and mezhebs. Besides, the tarikat, religious communities (cemaat-s) and the places where religious persons are buried were investigated throghout the city. According to our study we see that the non-muslim population of the foundation of the Republic. Some non-muslim population who were living in the province, however, had left from city ofter soon Turkish War of Independence and the others had left in the early years of Repablic. In these days the population of Erzurum is Muslim. The % 03.8 percent of the Muslim population consists of Alewis, % 24 A Şafîis and the % 71.8 percent of Hanefiis it was also estimated the existence of the persons who devote them selves to the Nakşiilik, Kaririilik, Rifaiilik and Bektaşiilik(Aleviilik) tarigats which have still been their existence until these times. It was seen that the religious groups, wich are known of Süleymancı, of Nurcu by the people, have been in much activity throughout the city. Ali BAŞKAYA ELAZI?-1997
