7. SINIF SOSYAL BİLGİLER DERSİNDE JİGSAW IV TEKNİĞİNİN KULLANIMININ ÖĞRENCİLERİN AKADEMİK BAŞARISINA VE DERSE KARŞI TUTUMUNA ETKİSİ

Abstract

Bu araştırma 7. Sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde üretim, tüketim ve dağıtım öğrenme alanına ait kazanımların işlenmesinde Jigsaw IV tekniğinin öğrencilerin akademik başarısına ve derse karşı tutumuna etkisini araştırmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma 2020/2021 eğitim öğretim yılı Aydın ili Nazilli ilçesinde bulunan Asımın Nesli Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi 7. Sınıf öğrencilerinden 39 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada ön test son test kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Akademik Başarı Testi ve Sosyal Bilgiler Tutum Ölçeği veri toplama araçları olarak belirlenmiştir. 5 Hafta olarak planlanan çalışmada deney grubuna iş birliğine dayalı öğrenme yöntemlerinden olan Jigsaw IV tekniği, kontrol grubuna ise mevcut öğretim programı uygulanmıştır. Araştırma süresince deney ve kontrol gruplarından elde edilen veriler SPSS 22.0 programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada Jigsaw IV tekniğinin mevcut öğretim programında yer alan öğretim ve etkinliklere göre Sosyal Bilgiler öğretiminde öğrencilerin akademik başarılarını anlamlı derecede artırdığı ve derse karşı tutumlarını olumlu etkilediği sonucuna varılmıştır.

This research was conducted to investigate the effect of Jigsaw IV technique on students' academic achievement and attitude towards the lesson in the processing of acquisitions in the field of production, consumption and distribution in the 7th grade Social Studies course. The research was carried out with 39 students from the 7th grade of Asımın Nesli Anatolian Imam Hatip High School in the district of Nazilli ,the province of Aydın in the academic year of the 2020/2021. In the research, experimental design with pretest-posttest control group was used. Academic Achievement Test and Social Studies Attitude Scale are determined as data collection tools. In the study planned for 5 weeks, the Jigsaw IV technique, which is one of the collaborative learning methods, was applied to the experimental group and the traditional learning methods to the control group. During the research, the data obtained from the experimental and control groups were analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 program. In the study, it was concluded that the Jigsaw IV technique significantly increased the academic achievement of students in Social Studies teaching compared to traditional methods and positively affected their attitudes towards the course
