| dc.description.abstract | Fırat Üniversitesi Araştırma Hastanesi Yenidoğan Ünitesine yenidoğan sarılığı nedeniyle başvuran 47 olguda G6PD enzimi araştırıldı. G6PD enzim ek¬sikliği nedeni bulunamayan yenidoğan sarılığı geçi¬ren 47 olgunun 18'inde (%38.2) saptandı. G6PD enzim eksikliği Kontrol grubunda ise 14 olgunun 4'ünde (%28.5) saptandı. G6PD enzim aktivitesi yenidoğan sarılığı geçiren ve G6PD düşük olan ol¬gularda ortalama 80.9±21.9 mU/109 eritrosit; Kontrol grubunda ise 158.8±71.9 mil/109 eritrosit bulundu. Yenidoğan sarılıktı olgularda hiperbilirubi¬nemi nedenleri arasında eritrosit içi G8PD enzim eksikliği önemli yer tuttuğundan nedeni buluna¬mayan hiperbilirubinemi olgularında bu enzimin araştırılması gerektig vurgulandı.
