LİSE DİSİPLİN SORUNLARININ CİNSİYET DEĞİŞKENİ AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, lise öğrencilerinin işlemiş olduğu disiplin suçlarını cinsiyet değişkenine göre incelemektir. Çalışma, 1990–2000 yılları arasında Diyarbakır il merkezinden beş; ilçelerinden de üç olmak üzere toplam sekiz lisenin disiplin kayıtları üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Çalışmanın modeli, betimsel taramadır. Veriler, liselerdeki disiplin defterlerinde kayıtlı toplam 1293 disiplin olayından oluşturulmuştur. Bu veriler, betimsel istatistik tekniklerinden yüzde ve frekans ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinden, örneklem dahilinde incelenen liselerde işlenmiş disiplin suçlarında cinsiyetin önemli bir değişken olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu liselerin disiplin defterlerinde kayıtlı toplam 1293 disiplin suçunda erkek öğrencilerin oranı %96,4; kız öğrencilerin ise %3,6’dır. Disiplin defterine kayıtlı ve cezalandırılan disiplin suçları tür olarak on bir kategoride yer almaktadır. Disiplin suçlarında cinsiyete göre en az farklılaşma, kılık ve kıyafet suçuna ilişkindir.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the disciplinary actions committed by high-school students in terms of gender variable. The study has been conducted upon the disciplinary registers of five high-schools in Diyarbakır province center and of three high-schools in its towns. The study is in the descriptive survey model. The data have been formed based upon 1293 disciplinary actions registered in the afore-mentioned schools. The data have been analyzed with percentage and frequency techniques. As a result, it has been identified that the gender is a significant variable in the disciplinary actions committed in the sample high-schools of the study. The rate of the male students is 96.4 % and that of the female students is 3.6 % in the total 1293 disciplinary actions registered. The disciplinary actions are sorted out in eleven categories. The less difference in terms of gender variable among the disciplinary actions is related to actions of bad appearance and dressing.
