REFİ CEVAT ULUNAY ROMANLARININ YAPI VE TEMA BAKIMINDAN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Cumhuriyet öncesi ve Cumhuriyet dönemi yazarlarından olan Refi Cevat Ulunay, dönemin güçlü kalemlerinden birisidir. Daha çok gazeteci kimliği ile ön plana çıkan yazar, Türk edebiyatında romancılığı ile tanınır. Roman dışında fıkra, gazete, tiyatro, müzik, halk hikâyesi vb. gibi çeşitli dallarda da yazan çok yönlü bir sanatkârdır. Onun en önemli özelliği çağına bir ayna tutarak gerçekçi yönüyle eserlerini yazmasıdır.İnsanı anlatırken insandan hareketle topluma ulaşmayı hedefleyen yazar, sosyal konuların bir temsilcisidir. Amacı, sadece bireyi anlatmak değil, aynı zamanda bireyin yaşadığı toplumu tahlil edebilmektir. Bu bakımdan toplumdan kopmadan iyi gözlem yeteneği ile eserlerini oluşturmuştur. Çalışmamız; yazarın hayatı, edebi kişiliği, çok yönlü oluşu, güçlü kalemi ve sanatı ile birlikte romanlarında işlediği temleri ve vermek istediği mesajları içermektedir. Refi Cevat Ulunay, one of the pre-republicandafterrepublic writers, is one of the most powerful pens of the period. The writer, coming forward mostly with his journalist personality, is known with his novels in Turkish Literature. He is a versatile artist whowrote in many different fields such as funny stories, newspapers, theatres, music, folk storiesetc. His most important feauture is that he wrote his Works with their realistic aspect susing a mirror to enlighten his era. The write raiming to reach the community by focusing on man while telling about him, is a representative of social subjects. His aim is not only totell the individual but only to analyze the community in which the individual lives. With this respect with out breaking off the community, he created his Works with a good observation ability. Our study contains the writers life, his personality of literature, his versatility, his powerfulpen, his art, thethemes he worked on in his novel sand themessages he wanted to give.
