RUSYA-UKRAYNA SAVAŞI’NIN TÜRK YAZILI BASININDA YANSIMASI

Abstract

Bu araştırmada; 24 Şubat 2022 tarihinde başlayan ve halen devam eden Rusya-Ukrayna Savaşı’nın Türkiye’de farklı yayın politikalarına sahip gazetelerde savaşın başlangıcının akabinde nasıl ele alındığı incelenmiştir. Basın İlan Kurumu’nun resmi internet sitesinden yararlanılarak yapılan bu çalışmada, yaygın gazeteler adı altında gösterilen Birgün ve Yeni Akit gazetelerinin ilk sayfalarındaki haberler içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırmaya konu olan gazetelerin aynı tarihlerde birinci sayfalarındaki haberler incelenmiş ve çıkarımlar yapılmıştır. Devam eden savaşın iki farklı yayın politikasına sahip yaygın gazetelerde ne ölçüde yer aldığı savaşın hangi özelliklerine vurgu yapıldığı, gazeteler arasında haber başlıklarının farklılıklarının olup/olmadığı analiz edilmiştir. Gazetelerde sunulan haberlerde Türkiye’nin savaşa ilişkin tavrının her iki gazete tarafından farklı şekilde haber içeriklerinde yer aldığı vurgulanmıştır.

In this study; the ongoing war which was started on February 24, 2022 between Russia and Ukraine was investigated within the scope of how it has been handled by newspapers that have different publishing policies in Turkey, after the beginning of the war. The official website of Press Advertisement Agency was used, and content analysis method was applied to the news on the first pages of the Birgun and Yeni Akit newspapers which have been categorized under the heading of common newspapers. The news on the first pages of the newspapers that are subject of the research on the same dates were examined and inferences were made. The extent of the news, the emphasized features of the war, and the differences in the headlines were analyzed in the mainstream newspapers with two different publication policies about the ongoing war. It was emphasized that the attitude of Turkiye regarding the war were differently involved in the content of the news in these two different newspapers.
