ULUSLARARASI GÖÇMEN KADINLARIN KÜLTÜREL UYUM SÜRECİNDE SİVİL TOPLUMUN ROLÜ: ELAZIĞ ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın konusu uluslararası göçmen kadınların kültürel uyum sürecinde Sivil Toplum Kuruluşlarının (STK) herhangi bir rolünün olup olmadığının araştırılmasıdır. Çalışmanın amacı kültürel uyum sürecinin Elazığ örneğinde incelenmesidir. Çalışmanın yöntemi derinlemesine mülakat görüşmeleri ile gerçekleştirilen nitel bir çalışmadır. 12 kadın göçmen ile görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiş ve nitel veri analiz programı MAXQDA 20 ile analizler yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulguları ise STK faaliyetleri doğrultusunda gerçekleştirilen faaliyetlerin bir kısmı kültürel uyum sürecinde pozitif etki oluşturmazken, bazı faaliyetler kültürel uyum sürecinde kuvvetli ve pozitif bir etki oluşturmaktadır. Uluslararası göçmen kadınların kültürel uyum sürecinde STK'ların olumlu bir rolünün olduğu bulgulanmıştır.

The subject of this study is to investigate the role of Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) in the cultural adaptation process of international migrant women. The aim of the study is to examine the cultural adaptation process in the case of Elazığ. The method of the study is a qualitative study conducted through in-depth interviews. 12 women migrants were interviewed and analysed with the qualitative data analysis software MAXQDA 20. The findings of the study show that while some of the activities carried out in line with NGO activities do not have a positive effect on the cultural adaptation process, some activities have a strong and positive effect on the cultural adaptation process. It was found that NGOs have a positive role in the cultural adaptation process of international migrant women.
