DİN GÖREVLİLERİNİN SORUNLARI VE BEKLENTİLERİ ÜZERİNE SOSYOLOJİK BİR ARAŞTIRMA: ELAZIĞ UYGULAMASI

Abstract

"Din Görevlilerinin Sorunları ve Beklentileri Üzerine Sosyolojik Bir Araştırma: Elazığ Uygulaması" başlıklı bu çalışma, Diyanet işleri Başkanlığı' na bağlı olarak Elazığ Müftülüğü' nde görev yapan din görevlileri üzerinde gerçekleştirilen bir alan araştırmasıdır. Bu araştırmanın örneklemini 150 din görevlisi oluşturmaktadır. "Din görevlisi" kavramı, dinsel bürokrasinin hiyerarşik yapısı içinde belli mesleksel konumlara sahip olan; müftü, müftü yardımcısı, vaiz, murakıp, Kur' an kursu öğreticisi, imam- hatip ve müezzin-kayyımı kapsamaktadır. Bu çalışmada; din hizmeti görevini yerine getiren din görevlilerinin; bireysel, toplumsal ve mesleksel problemlerinin oluşumunda etkin olan değişkenler ele alınmıştır. Bahsedilen durumlarla ilgili birtakım betimlemelere gidilirken, din görevlilerinin bu alanlardaki problem ve beklentileriyle ilgili belli çıkarımlara da ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Din görevliliğindeki mesleksel konumlanmaya (müftü, müftü yardımcısı, vaiz, murakıp, Kur' an kursu öğreticisi, imam-hatip ve müezzin-kayyım) göre, beklenti ve sorunlarda bir farklılaşma olduğu dikkat çekmektedir. Bunun yanında, görev yapılan yerin kırsal veya kentsel yerleşim yeri olması da problem ve beklentilerde belirgin bir farklılaşmaya yol açmaktadır. Din görevliliği mesleğinin yerine getirilmesi esnasında ortaya çıkan problem ve beklentilerin; yaş, medeni durum, doğum yeri, öğrenim durumu, baba mesleği, çocuk sayısı, aylık maaş durumu, maaş dışı gelir durumu, oturulan evin durumu gibi değişkenlere bağlı olarak farklılaştığı dikkat çekmektedir. This study entitled "A Sociological Investigation on the Problems and Expectations of Religious Employees: Applied to Elazığ" is a field research on the religious personnel belong to Elazığ Branch of the Presidency of Religious Affairs. For this purpose a questionnaire has been prepared and a set of 150 religious employees have been subjected to the study. The concept of "religious employee" in this study was used for the government employees performing religious duties within the framework of bureaucratic hierarchy such as "Mooftee", "Vice-Mooftee", Preacher, Religious Inspector, Quran Teacher, "Imam-Khateep" and "Muazzeen-Qayyeem". In this study the variables affecting the personal, social and professional problems of religious employees who are responsible for carrying out the religious duties were investigated. On the basis of sociological criteria the significant findings obtained on these matters were described and evaluated. It has been found that there is a noticeable difference on the problems and expectations of religious employees depending on their positions. In addition, the problems and expectations were also observed to be quite different in respect to the location of occupation such as urban (city, town), rural (village) areas. This study revealed that the problems and expectations during the period of work are dependent upon several variables. These are; age, marital status, birth place, level of education, father's occupation, number of children, salary, income not depended to salary, residence conditions.
