SOSYAL BİLGİLER 6. VE 7. SINIF DERS KİTAPLARINDA GİRİŞİMCİLİK BECERİSİNİN YERİ VE ÖNEMİ

Abstract

Bu çalışma ile amaçlanan Sosyal Bilgiler 6. ve 7. sınıf ders kitaplarında yer alan girişimcilik becerisine ne düzeyde yer verildiğini belirlemektir. Bu araştırmada doküman inceleme modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada materyal olarak 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılına ait Sosyal Bilgiler 6. ve 7. sınıf ders kitapları incelenmiştir. Araştırma verilerine betimsel içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılarak ulaşılmış, bulgular tema ve kategorilere ayrılarak çözümlenmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma bulguları; girişimcilik becerisinin 6. sınıf ders kitabında en çok ekonomi ile ilişkilendirildiği, 7. sınıf ders kitabında ise girişimciliğin kişisel boyutunun öne çıkarıldığı görülmüştür. Girişimcilik becerisinin bu iki boyutunu sırasıyla mesleki ve eğitim boyutları izlemiştir. Her iki ders kitabında da girişimciliğin eğitim boyutuna en az oranda yer verildiği anlaşılmıştır. Girişimcilik becerisi 6. ve 7. sınıf ders kitaplarında birbirlerine yakın oranda bulunurken, en fazla 6. sınıf ders kitabında yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir. Her iki ders kitabında da girişimciliğin bazı alt boyutlarına hiç yer verilmediğinin görülmesi, girişimcilik becerisinin her iki ders kitabında da yeteri oranda yer almadığını ortaya koymaktadır. Girişimcilik becerisinin söz konusu ders kitaplarındaki ünitelere, öğrenme alanlarına, metin içerilerine ve ünite değerlendirme çalışmalarına eşit oranda dağılım göstermediği sonucuna ulaşılarak her iki ders kitabında da girişimcilik becerisine daha fazla oranda ver verilmesi öğrenciler açısından faydalı olacaktır.

The aim of this study is to determine the level of entrepreneurship skills in Social Studies 6th and 7th grade textbooks. Document analysis model was used in this research. Social Studies 6th and 7th grade textbooks from the 2022-2023 academic year were examined as materials in the study. The research data were accessed using descriptive content analysis method, and the findings were analyzed and interpreted by dividing them into themes and categories. The findings of the research show that entrepreneurship skills are mostly associated with economy in the 6th grade textbook, while the 7th grade textbook emphasizes the personal dimension of entrepreneurship. These two dimensions of entrepreneurship skills were followed by vocational and educational dimensions respectively. In both textbooks, it was understood that the educational dimension of entrepreneurship was included at the lowest rate. Entrepreneurship skill was found to be close to each other in 6th and 7th grade textbooks, while it was found to be included in the 6th grade textbook the most. The fact that some sub-dimensions of entrepreneurship are not included at all in both textbooks reveals that entrepreneurship skills are not sufficiently covered in both textbooks. It is concluded that entrepreneurship skills are not equally distributed in the units, learning areas, text contents and unit evaluation studies in these textbooks, and it would be beneficial for students to give more attention to entrepreneurship skills in both textbooks.
