| dc.description.abstract | A computational analysis has been performed to analyze inclined magnetic field effect and power law fluid in a curvilinear shaped lid-driven cavity. Finite element method (FEM) is applied to solve laminar governing equations with buoyancy term as source term. In order to strengthen the analysis performed in this study, the designed solver is validated quantitatively against both numerical and experimental data. In this work, flow, heat and mass transfer effects are studied for different physical parameters such as Reynolds number 0 < Re < 200, power law index 0.6 < n < 1.8, Richardson number 0.1 < Ri < 5, inclination angle of magnetic field 0 degrees< gamma < 180 degrees and Lewis number 1 < Le < 10 are presented. It is observed that inclination angle for magnetic field can be used as a control parameter for heat and mass transfer with different power law index. | |
