İBN YA'KÛB EL-MAĞRİBÎ VE BELAGAT İLMİNDEKİ YERİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada İbn Ya'kûb el-Mağribî ve belagat ilmindeki yeri Mevâhibu'l-fettâh fî şerhi Telhîsi'l-Miftâh isimli eseri bağlamında ele alınmıştır. Çoğu mantık ve dil ilimleri alanında olmak üzere yirmiye yakın eser kaleme almış olan müellifin ilmi kişiliği üzerinde yaşadığı dönemde Mağrib'in siyasi, sosyal, ekonomik ve kültürel şartlarının etkili olduğu söylenebilir. Müellifin belagata dair kaleme aldığı eser Hatîb el-Kazvinî'nin Telhîs'i üzerine yazdığı şerh olan Mevâhibu'l-fettâh'tır. O bu eserinde Arap dili veri kaynaklarından en çok Arap şiirinden, ondan sonra Kur'ân-ı Kerim ayetleri ve Hz. Peygamberin hadislerinden istişhâd veya temsil makamında istifade etmiştir. Mantık ilmine hâkimiyeti onun belagat metodoljisine de yansımıştır. O eserinde genel olarak mantıksal tetkik metodunu kullanarak daha çok taksim ve tanımlar üzerinde durmuştur. Eserinde yeri geldiğinde şevâhid olarak kullanılan ayet, hadis ve şiirlerin dilsel tahlillerine de yer vermiştir. Belagat ilminin üç ana disiplini olan meânî, beyan ve bedi' ilmine dair mevzulardan yeri geldiğinde kendinden önce gelmiş belagat âlimlerinin eser ve görüşlerine atıfta bulunmuştur. Tartışmalı meselelerde tartışmanın taraflarının görüşlerini aynen aktarmış, bazen bunlardan birini tercih etmiş bazen de bunlar hakkında herhangi bir değerlendirme yapmamıştır. In this study, Ibn Ya'kûb el-Mağribî and his position in rhetoric is studied within the context of his work Mevâhibu'l-fettâh fî şerhi Telhîsi'l-Miftâh. The political, social, economic and cultural conditions of Maghreb in his time can be said to be effective on the scientific personality of the author, who wrote around twenty works most of them being in the fields of logic and language. The author's work about rhetoric is Mevâhibu'l-fettâh, an annotation he wrote for el-Kazvinî's Telhîs. In this work, he mostly benefits from Arabic poetry from Arabic language data sources, and he mentions the verses of the Koran and the hadiths of Hz. Muhammad as evidence and representation. His mastery of logic reflects on his rhetoric methodology. In his work, he usually uses logical observation and mostly focuses on divisions and definitions. When appropriate, he also mentions the linguistic analyses of the verses, hadiths and poems, which are used as evidence. He, if need be, refers to the works and opinions of the preceding rhetoric scholars about the issues related to al-Maani, al-Bayan, and al-Badi, the three main disciplines of rhetoric. He identically transfers the views of the parties on the controversial issues, sometimes prefers one of them and sometimes does not make a remark about them.
