ÜÇ BOYUTLU MİNKOWSKİ UZAYINDA MODİFİYE ORTOGONAL ÇATILI EĞRİLER

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, 3-boyutlu Öklid uzayında birim hızlı olmayan eğrilerin eğrilik ve torsiyonlu modifiye çatılar incelenmiştir. Eğrinin modifiye çatılarının Frenet vektörleri ile modifiye çatının türev vektörleri arasındaki ilişkiler verilmiştir. Ayrıca bu çalışmada 3-boyutlu Minkowski uzayında timelike ve spacelike eğriler için modifiye ortogonal çatılar kurulmuş, her iki eğri tipi için de modifiye çatılar arasındaki dönüşüm ilişkileri ayrıntılı biçimde incelenmiştir. Tez kapsamında, Minkowski uzayında işaret farklarının çatılar üzerindeki etkisi gösterilmiş ve eğrilik fonksiyonları ?(t) ve ?(t) kullanılarak örnekler üzerinde uygulamalar yapılmıştır.

In this study, modified frames with curvature and torsion of non-unit velocity curves in 3-dimensional Euclidean space are investigated. Relationships between the Frenet vectors of the modified frames of the curve and the derivative vectors of the modified frames are presented. Furthermore, this study constructs modified orthogonal frames for timelike and spacelike curves in 3-dimensional Minkowski space, and the transformation relations between the modified frames for both types of curves are examined in detail. Within the scope of this thesis, the effects of sign differences on frames in Minkowski space are demonstrated, and applications are made to examples using the curvature functions ?(t) and ?(t).
