PROF. DR. MUHAMMED HAMİDULLAH'IN HAYATI VE ESERLERİ ÜZERİNE BİR İNCELEME

Abstract

Prof. Dr. Muhammed Hamidullah çalışmalarında tetkik ve tenkide önem veren titiz bir araştırmacıdır. Geçmişten günümüze kadar ilmî ve kültürel, bilgi birikiminin orijinalliğini korumuş entelektüel bir fikir adamıdır. Bu çerçevede Muhammed Hamidullah günümüz fıkıh problemlerine dair görüşlerinin bilinmesinin etkisiyle İslam hukuk tarihinin doğru okunmasına ve aktarılmasına katkı sağlamıştır. Bununla beraber İslam tarihini ve İslam peygamberini en detaylı şekilde ele almıştır. Bu alana bağlı olarak Hadis ve Sünnet alanında İslam tarihine büyük katkısı olmuştur. Muhammed Hamidullah bu sayede İslam hukuk tarihinin, en önemli varislerindendir. Bu çalışmada da ömrü boyunca gerçekleştirdiği ilmi faaliyetlerinde İslam tarihi ve İslam hukuku alanında etkili olmuş aynı zamanda İslam âlimlerinden biri olan Prof. Dr. Muhammed Hamidullah'ın, hayatı ve eserleri ele alınmış, eserleri kitaplar ve makaleler olarak 2 bölümde detaylı bir şekilde incelenerek bilgiler sentezlenerek aktarılmıştır. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hamidullah is a meticulous researcher who gives importance to examination and criticism in his works. He is an intellectual who has preserved his scientific and cultural knowledge and originality from past to present. In this context, Muhammad Hamidullah contributed to the correct reading and transfer of knowledge of his views on today's fiqh problems to the history of Islamic law. However, he dealt with the history of Islam and the prophet of Islam in the most detailed way. Depending on this field, he made a great contribution to the history of Islam in the field of Hadith and Sunnah. In this way, Mohammed Hamidullah is one of the most important heirs of the history of Islamic law. In this study, one of the Islamic scholars who was influential in the field of Islamic history and Islamic law in his scientific activities throughout his life, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hamidullah's life and works were discussed, his works were examined in detail in 2 parts as books and articles, and the information was synthesized and transferred.
