TANZİMAT DEVRİ TÜRK ŞİİR POETİKASI

Abstract

Bu tez, Tanzimat devri şairlerinin şiir üzerine yazdıkları poetik nitelikli metinlerinden hareketle dönemin poetikasını ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Bugüne kadar yapılan çalışmalarda Tanzimat şairleri tek tek ele alınmış ve genellikle söz konusu şairlerin teorik yazılarından yola çıkılarak bireysel poetikalar üzerine araştırmalar yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada ise şairlerin şiir üzerine yazdığı bütün yazıları ve manzum poetikaları ele alınarak devrin poetik anlayışı üzerinde durulmuştur. Poetika, şiiri edebî yapan unsurları ortaya çıkarmayı hedefler. Bu yüzden poetikanın ilgi alanı şairin eseri ve şiir üzerine yazdıklarıdır. Bu çalışmada da bu anlayış benimsenmiş ve Tanzimat şiirini edebî yapan unsurlar, şairlerin poetik nitelikli metinlerinden hareketle tespit edilmiştir. Batı edebiyatını model alan Tanzimat şairlerinin poetikalarını Divan şiiri karşıtlığı üzerine kurdukları ve yeni şiir anlayışını bu zıtlık üzerinden inşa etmeye çalıştıkları görülmektedir. Çalışmanın sonunda, günümüze kadar gelecek şiir anlayışının ilk evresi olan Tanzimat devri poetikasının temelini 'hakikate ve tabiata uygunluk' prensibinin ve Namık Kemal'in şekillendirdiği edebiyat-ı sahiha anlayışının oluşturduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Özellikle hakikat ve tabiat kavramları, Divan şiir geleneğinden tamamen farklı bir anlayış ile ele alınmış, 'akıl ve ilim' ekseninde bir anlayış benimsenmiştir. This thesis aims to reveal poetics of the period that based on the qualified texts of poets of the Tanzimat period on poems. So far, the poets of Tanzimat are dealt individually in the conducted studies and usually researches were on sing ular poetics with reference to the theoretical texts. However, this study is dwelling on all texts written by poets on poems and poetic understanding of the period based on in verse poetics. Poetic aims to find out components that made the poems literary. Therefore, concern of poetic is the work of poet and his writings on the poems. This approach has been adopted in this study and the factors made the Tanzimat poems as literary are ascertained through qualitative poetics texts of poets. It is seen that poets of Tanzimat period who take the western literature as an example are established their poetic on the contradiction of Ottoman poetry and attempt to construct the new concept of the poem over this controversy. At the end of the study, we conclude that the basis of the Tanzimat period poetic is the first phase of the poem understanding that survive until today. It is constituted through the principal of "compliance with truth and nature" and understanding of authentic literature shaped by Namık Kemal. In particular, the concept of truth and nature are examined completely different from tradition of the Ottoman Poetry. Accordingly, an approach in line with "wisdom and science" is adopted.
