DESIGNING A SECURABLE GATE ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM THROUGH ID CARD

Abstract

RFID Kart Giriş Sistemi, ana kapıdan bir şehir evine giriş yapmak isteyen kişiler veya ziyaretçiler için bilgi ve erişimi yönetmek için kullanılan bir tekniği açıklar. Bu sistem, ana kapıdan şehir evine giren sakinler veya ziyaretçilerin güvenli bir alandaki hareketleriyle ilgili bilgileri tutmak için bir veri tabanına bağlı bir web uygulaması olarak tasarlanmıştır. The RFID Card Entry System describes a technique that is utilized to manage information and gain access for persons or visitors wishing to acquire entrance through the main gate into a city house. This system has been designed as a web application connected to a database to maintain information regarding residents' or visitor's movement within a secured area for those entering the main gate to the city house. Hence, it is better to choose access control systems instead of keys, utilizing access cards or ID badges that are more efficient to gain entry for a specific area such as a building or city house. Also, providing safety and security to the restricted area is a top priority and convenient access to authorized residents while denying unauthorized persons to access. The system provides a security measure for the residents and can help minimize the risk of unauthorized access, increase safety, reduce theft, accidents, and secure sensitive information. Also, this system can use to control movement within a commercial organization. Hackers can easily penetrate web applications' security via a brute-force attack, SQL injection (SQLI), and cross-site scripting (XSS). To provide a solution for the mentioned problem, this thesis provides web application security to prevent hackers from breaking the system when they reach the highly classified information. Therefore, to solve this problem and make the database's security extremely, the system uses some methods such as encrypting sensitive data using an advanced encryption standard (AES) algorithm, strong password policy, google Captcha, preventing SQLI, XSS, and session hijacking. Moreover, it helps web developers ignore and reduce the web application's high risks to minimize broken authentication risks and avoid leaving the login page.
