HALİDE NUSRET ZORLUTUNA'NIN DİN, TOPLUM VE EĞİTİM GÖRÜŞLERİ

Abstract

Toplumun sosyal, ekonomik ve siyasi anlamda büyük değişimler yaşadığı dönemde yaşayan "Ümmü'l-Muharrirat" kadın yazarların annesi Halide Nusret Zorlutuna, kaleme aldığı roman, şiir ve makale türündeki eserleriyle son dönem Türk edebiyatının önemli temsilcilerindendir. Osmanlı'nın son zamanlarına ve Anadolu'da yeni kurulan Türkiye Cumhuriyeti devletinin kuruluşuna tanıklık etmiş önemli bir yazar ve eğitimcidir. Memleketin çektiği sancıları bizzat gören ve yaşayan yazar, ülkenin geleceğinin inşası için eğitim, edebiyat ve sosyal alanda birçok fedakârlıklar göstermiştir. Edebiyat ve toplum arasındaki yakın ilişki, toplumsal bir olgu olan eğitim ile birleşince toplumun geleceğini inşa etmek çok kolay ve sağlıklı olur. Halide Nusret Zorlutuna, bu üç önemli unsuru eserlerinde ve eğitim hayatında birleştiren değerlerimizden biridir. Öğretmenlik de yapmış olan Halide Nusret, bu tecrübelerinden yola çıkarak yazdıklarıyla adeta günümüze ışık tutmuştur. Eserlerinde ahlaklı insan, iyi bir eğitim ve nitelikleri, öğretmende bulunması gereken özelliklere yer vermiştir. Ayrıca öğrenci ve öğretmen ilişkisi, dindar ve ahlaklı gençlik ve milli duyguları yüksek bir toplum gibi konulara da yer vermiştir. Özellikle çocuk eğitimi üzerinde ısrarla durmuştur. Ayrıca eserlerinde üniversite eğitimi, yabancı okullar, din eğitimi ve okul eğitimi ile ilgili fikirleri de dikkati çekmektedir. Neticede Halide Nusret Zorlutuna'nın, yazdığı eserler ve yaptığı hizmetlerle hem eğitim hem de edebiyat dünyamıza yön verdiğini söylemek, ancak bir hakikati ifade etmek olur. Halide Nusret Zorlutuna, the mother of "Ümmü'l-Muharrirat" women writers, whose mother lived during the period when the society experienced economic, social and political changes is one of the representatives of the Turkish Literature with the types of works including poetry, novel and article. She is an important writer and lecturer who witnessed the foundation of Turkish Republic just new founded in Anatolia and the later part of Ottoman Empire. The writer who witnessed the difficulties that the country suffered sacrificed himself a lot in the field of education, literature and social life in order to build the future of the country. When combined a social phenomenon with education the close relationship between literature and society, it will be easier to set up the future of the society. Halide Nusret Zorlutuna is one of our assets who combined these three significant elements in her works and education life. Halide Nusret, who also worked as a teacher, shed light to our day with her writings by using her experiences. She applied in her works to the characteristics such as moral person, a good education which have to be available in a teacher. Moreover, she stressed the subjects such as the relationship between teacher and student, religious and moral youth and national feelings, an elevated society. She, in particular, insisted on child education. In addition, her ideas on university education, foreign schools, religious education and school education in her works draw attention. In conclusion, it will be only fair to say that Halide Nusret Zorlutuna led to both our literature world and education through her works and the services she did.
