Yeşil Eğitime Yönelik Akademik Çalışmaların Bibliyometrik Analizi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, yeşil eğitim ve yeşil müfredat konularında yapılan akademik çalışmaları bibliyometrik yöntemlerle inceleyerek alanın mevcut bilimsel eğilimlerini, tematik odaklarını ve araştırma boşluklarını ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmada, Web of Science veri tabanında 2000–2024 yılları arasında yayımlanan toplam 892 makale analiz edilmiştir. Analiz kapsamında yıllara göre yayın artış eğilimleri, en üretken yazarlar, etkili dergiler, ülkeler, anahtar kelime kullanımları ve yazarlar arası atıf ilişkileri değerlendirilmiştir.Elde edilen bulgular, yeşil eğitim literatüründe özellikle 2012 yılından itibaren belirgin bir artış yaşandığını göstermektedir. ABD, Çin ve Avustralya literatürde en fazla katkı sağlayan ülkeler olarak öne çıkarken; Journal of Chemical Education ve Journal of Cleaner Production gibi dergilerin hem yayın sayısı hem atıf düzeyi açısından ön planda olduğu belirlenmiştir. Anahtar kelime analizlerinde “green chemistry”, “education”, “sustainability” ve “higher education” kavramlarının sık kullanıldığı görülmüştür. Tematik harita analizlerine göre, “children”, “physical-activity”, “stress”, “impact”, “health” ve “perceptions” motor temalar arasında yer alırken, “education”, “sustainability” ve “performance” gibi temel temaların hâlen gelişme aşamasında olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma, yeşil eğitim alanındaki bilimsel üretimin yapısını bütüncül bir bakış açısıyla ortaya koymakta ve bu alanda yapılacak ileri düzey çalışmalara yön verecek önemli bulgular sunmaktadır.

The aim of this research is to examine academic studies on green education and green curriculum using bibliometric methods to reveal the current scientific trends, thematic focuses and research gaps in the field. In the study, a total of 892 articles published in the Web of Science database between 2000 and 2024 were analyzed. Within the scope of the analysis, publication growth trends by year, the most productive authors, influential journals, countries, keyword usage and citation relations between authors were evaluated. The findings show that there has been a significant increase in green education literature, especially since 2012. While the USA, China and Australia stand out as the countries that contributed the most to the literature, it was determined that journals such as Journal of Chemical Education and Journal of Cleaner Production were at the forefront in terms of both the number of publications and the level of citations. In the keyword analyses, it was observed that the concepts of “green chemistry”, “education”, “sustainability” and “higher education” were frequently used. According to thematic map analyses, while “children”, “physical-activity”, “stress”, “impact”, “health” and “perceptions” are among the motor themes, it has been determined that basic themes such as “education”, “sustainability” and “performance” are still in the development stage. The research reveals the structure of scientific production in the field of green education from a holistic perspective and presents important findings that will guide advanced studies in this field.
