Ona göre Tanrı yarattıkları için en iyisini isteyendir. dc.description.abstractEvil is everything that causes pain and torment to people, that people conscientiously reject and try to avoid. The problem of evil is a philosophical issue that is as old as the history of humanity and is discussed by everyone, believers and non-believers alike. In the historical process, especially atheists have put forward the following questions: "If God exists and is absolutely good, then how can so much evil exist?", "If God allows evil, how is it possible for God to be absolutely good?" such ideas have been put forward. Leibniz and Gazali, who have an optimistic attitude towards these arguments, state that evil does not originate from God and that God is an absolutely good and perfect being. Both thinkers say that existing evils are only permitted by God and that after that evil, a greater good will surely emerge, the nature of which we cannot know. Gazali characterizes the phenomenon, the nature of which we cannot know, with the concept of "wisdom". According to Leibniz and Gazali, God; He is a perfect being who is omnipotent, the creator of everything, who has infinite will and power. In order to prove that evil does not originate from God, Leibniz first tries to prove His existence. He especially presents rational arguments against those who seek to cast doubt on God's power and will. Likewise, Gazali believes in the existence of God and presents his rational evidence in this regard. God's attributes were especially influential in Leibniz's vision of God. He sees it as necessary for God to know everything eternally, to create everything by wishing for the best out of an infinite number of possible possibilities, and to always want the good for His creations. Although there is no such obligation in Gazali, he states that God creates the best possible. According to him, God wants the best for his creations.
