Childish Discourse in Orhan Veli Poetry

Abstract

Orhan Veli is one of the important representatives of our field of art and conception. While he is making contribution to our field of literature by his poems, he also makes contribution to both field of art and contrbution equally.We know Orhan Veli, whose mass of the audience is broad, managed to call upon his readers at the age of 7 to 70 moreover he is one of the remarkable artists who could manage it at the same book. We should emphasize that the childlike expression which we see almost all his poems is one of important characters of his field of art and conception. We tried to stress on his childlike expression at our article.

Orhan Veli, sanat ve düşünce dünyamızın önemli bir temsilcisidir. Şiirleriyle edebiyat dünyamıza önemli ölçüde katkıda bulunurken düz yazı ve çevirileriyle de sanat ve düşünce dünyamıza aynı ölçüde katkıda bulunmuştur. Okuyucu kitlesinin geniş olduğunu bildiğimiz Orhan Veli, yediden yetmişe hitap edebilmeyi başarmıştır. Hatta bu başarısını aynı eserde gerçekleştirebilen ender sanatçılardandır. Neredeyse bütün şiirlerinde görülen çocuksu söylemi kullanması, onun sanat anlayışının önemli bir özelliği olduğunu belirtmek gerekir. Çalışmamızda Orhan Veli’nin şiirlerindeki çocuksu söylemin üzerinde durulmaktadır.
