PROSTAT KANSERLİ HASTALARDA ANTİOKSİDAN VİTAMİNLER (A, E, C) İLE SELENYUM VE MDA DÜZEYLERİNİN ARAŞTIRILMASI

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, kontrol grubu olarak 21 sağlıklı kişi ile Prostat kanseri teşhisi konulmuş 20 hastanın kan serumlarındaki antioksidan vitaminlerden A, E, C vitaminleri ve MDA miktarları Yüksek performanslı sıvı kromatografısi ile, selenyum ise florimetrik olarak belirlendi. Prostat kanserli hastalarda A, E, C vitaminleri ile selenyum düzeyleri kontrol grubuna göre düşük, MDA düzeylerinin ise kontrol grubuna göre yüksek olduğu görüldü. (P< 0.001) Sonuç olarak, prostat kanserli hastalarda görülen antioksidan aktivitelerdeki azalma, bu antioksidan vitaminler ve selenyumun prostat kanseri oluşumuna neden olan serbest radikalleri kısmen de olsa zararsız hale getirilebileceği ve diğer antioksidan sistemlere yardımcı olabilecekleri ileri sürülebilir. In this study, the antioxidant vitamins A, E, C and MDA and selenium levels in the serum in erythrocytes of 20 patients with prostate cancer and 21 healthy person taken as control group have been determined by HPLC and flourometer respectively. It was obtained that the vitamins A, E and C with selenium levels prostate cancer of patients were lower than those of control group and MDA were higher than those of control group (p<0.01). As a result, it is put forward that the decrease in the antioxidant activity seen among s prostate cancer persons will put harmless the existence of free radicals,antioxsidant vitamins and selenium and help the other antioxidant systems Key Words: Prostate Cancer, vitamins A, E, C, MDA, Se and HPLC
