YUKARI PAHAR GÖLETİ (MERKEZ-ELAZIĞ) ZOOPLANKTONU

Abstract

Elazığ Merkez ilçesinde yer alan Yukarı Pahar Göleti'nin zooplankton faunasını taksonomik açıdan tanımlamak ve komünitenin yapısal dinamiklerini ortaya çıkarmak amacı ile yürütülen bu araştırma, Mayıs 2024 ile Nisan 2025 tarihleri arasındaki bir yıl süren bir periyodu kapsamaktadır. Çalışma sürecinde, göleti temsil eden dört farklı istasyondan aylık olarak 55 ?m göz açıklığına sahip standart plankton ağı ile biyolojik örneklemeler yapılmış ve eş zamanlı olarak su sıcaklığı ve pH gibi ekosistemi şekillendiren temel fizikokimyasal parametreler ölçülmüştür. Laboratuvar ortamında gerçekleştirilen teşhis çalışmaları ile, gölet faunasında toplam 36 zooplankton türü tanımlanmıştır. Türlerin taksonomik olarak dağılımı incelendiğinde; 23 tür ile Rotifera'nın en zengin grup olduğu, onu 11 tür ile Cladocera'nın ve 2 tür ile Copepoda'nın izlediği gözlemlenmiştir. Kantitatif analizler, komünite yapısının sayısal olarak Rotifera baskınlığında şekillendiğini göstermiştir. Toplam zooplankton yoğunluğu içerisinde Rotifera grubu %79,91'lik bir oranla (3.779,590 birey/m³) ekosistemde baskınlık kurmuş; Cladocera %18,37 (868,698 birey/m³) ve Copepoda %1,72 (81,520 birey/m³) oranlarında seyretmiştir . Mevsimsel dinamikler değerlendirildiğinde, popülasyon yoğunluğunun mevsimlere göre belirgin ayrışmalar göstermiştir ve en yüksek yoğunluğun yaz mevsiminde (970.397,5 birey/m³) kaydedildi. En düşük yoğunluğun ise sonbahar mevsiminde (1.286.987,5 birey/m³) gerçekleştiği izlendi. Ekosistemdeki tür zenginliği ve dengesini ifade eden Shannon-Wiener çeşitlilik indeksi (H?) ile elde edilen bulgulara göre en yüksek çeşitlilik değeri Nisan ayında 3. istasyonda (H?=2,203) ölçüldü ve en düşük çeşitlilik düzeyi çevresel stres faktörlerinin de etkisiyle Ocak ayında 1. istasyonda (H?=1,467) izlendi.

This research, conducted to taxonomically identify the zooplankton fauna of Yukarı Pahar Pond, located within the boundaries of the Central District of Elazığ, and to reveal the structural dynamics of the community, covers a one-year period from May 2024 to April 2025. During the study, biological samples were collected monthly from four representative stations using a standard plankton net with a 55 ?m mesh size. Concurrently, fundamental physicochemical parameters shaping the ecosystem, such as water temperature and pH, were measured in situ. As a result of laboratory identification studies, a total of 36 zooplankton species were identified in the pond fauna. Upon examining the distribution of species across taxonomic groups, it was determined that Rotifera was the richest group with 23 species, followed by Cladocera with 11 species, and Copepoda with 2 species. Quantitative analyses indicated that the community structure was also numerically shaped by Rotifera dominance. Within the total zooplankton density, the Rotifera group dominated the ecosystem with a rate of 79.91% (3,779,590 ind./m³), while Cladocera and Copepoda were represented by rates of 18.37% (868,698 ind./m³) and 1.72% (81,520 ind./m³), respectively. When seasonal dynamics were evaluated, it was reported that population density exhibited significant seasonal variations; the highest density was recorded in the summer season (970,397.5 ind./m³), whereas the lowest density was observed in the autumn season (1,286,987.5 ind./m³). According to the Shannon-Wiener diversity index (H') findings, which express species richness and ecosystem balance, the highest diversity value was measured at Station 3 in April (H'=2.203), while the lowest diversity level was determined at Station 1 in January (H'=1.467) due to the impact of environmental stress factors.
