TANZİMAT ROMANINDA İDEALİZE TİPLER VE ORTAK ÖZELLİKLERİ

Abstract

Tanzimat Fermanı'nın ilanıyla Türk toplumu yönünü Batı'ya çevirir. Böylece kültür ve medeniyetimiz geniş anlamda bir etkilenme-yenilenme dönemine girer. Bu süreçte, edebiyatımızda yeni görülen roman türü, dönem aydınları tarafından bu yeni kültür ve medeniyet projesinin uygulanmasında önemli bir araç olarak telakki edilir. Böylece, roman dünyasında halkın seveceği, örnek alacağı, benimseyeceği kısaca model gibi görüp kabul edeceği roman kahramanları ve kadrosu yaratılır. Yeni projeyi hayata koymak için yaratılan bu kahramanlar başta aydın tipi olmak üzere geniş kitleleri peşinden sürükleyecek ideal özelliklere sahip kişilerdir.Çalışmamızda öncelikle Tanzimat döneminde neden ideal tipler oluşturulduğu sorusunun cevabı aranmış, ardından dönem romanlarındaki idealize tipler belli gruplara ayrılarak işlenmiştir. Ayrıca eski geleneğin devamı sayılan tiplerle de karşılaştık; ve biz bunlar üzerinde de çalıştık. Çalışmanın asıl konusunu oluşturan yeni aydın tipi, çalışan kadın tipi, müteşebbis tip gibi önceden edebiyatımızda görülmeyen tipler üzerinde çalışmayı yoğunlaştırdık. Tespit edilen tipleri, tek tek inceleyerek ortak özelliklerini belirlemeye çalıştık.

With the declaration of the Tanzimat Firman, Turkish Society turns ıts direction to the West. Thus, our culture and civilization enters into a period of being affected and renowal to a large extent. During that period, the new type of novel in our literature is regarded as an important tool in the application of that new culture and civilization project by the intellectuals of the time. And so, the novel heroes and staff in the novel-World to be loved, to be taken as models, to be adopted and shortly to be accepted as models by the public have been created. These heroes created for executing the new Project were the persons having the ideal features trailing the large mass of people, particularly the intellectual type.In our study; firstly, the answer to the question why ideal types have been formed at the Tanzimat Period has been searched, and then the idealized types in the novels of the period have been divided into certain groups and dealt with. Moreover, we have met with the types accepted as the continuation of the old tradition and studied on them, too. We have intensified on the types like intellectual type, working female type and enterprising type being the main subject of the study and not seen in our literature before . We have tried to determine their shared features by examining the selected types.
