TÜRKİYE AMPUTE FUTBOL SÜPER LİGİ'NDE OYNAYAN SPORCULARIN ZİHİNSEL DAYANIKLILIK VE BAŞARI MOTİVASYONU ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye Bedensel Engelliler Spor Federasyonu'na bağlı olan ve Türkiye Ampute Futbol Süper Ligi'nde mücadele eden ampute sporcularının zihinsel dayanıklılık ve başarı motivasyonu arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi ve çeşitli değişkenlere göre anlamlı bir farklılığın olup olmadığının belirlenmesidir. Araştırmanın evrenini; Türkiye Bedensel Engelliler Spor Federasyonu'na bağlı olan Türkiye Ampute Futbol Süper Ligi'nde mücadele eden 13 takımda yer alan 280 ampute sporcu oluştururken, örneklemini ise; örneklem testine göre tesadüfi örneklem yöntemiyle seçilen ve gönüllülük esasına dayanan 177 sporcu oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmamızda; demografik özelliklerin belirlenmesi için kişisel bilgi formu (Yaş, Medeni Durum, Eğitim Düzeyi, Spor Yapma Yılı, Antrenörle Çalışma Yılı), Sheard ve arkadaşları tarafından geliştirilen, Altıntaş ve Korunç tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan Sporda Zihinsel Dayanıklılık Envanteri ve Wills tarafından geliştirilen, Tiryaki ve Gödelek tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan Spora Özgü Başarı Motivasyonu Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 22 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Basıklık ve çarpıklık katsayı değerlerine göre araştırma verilerinin normal dağılım sergilediği kabul edilmiştir. Gruplar arası ikili karşılaştırmalarda t-testi, ikiden fazla çoklu karşılaştırmalarda Anova testi ve gruplar arası anlamlı farklılıkların bulunması amacıyla LSD testi uygulanmıştır. Sonuç olarak, katılımcıların zihinsel dayanıklılık düzeyleri demografik değişkenlere göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermezken, spora özgü başarı motivasyona göre yaş, spor yapma yılı ve aynı antrenörle çalışma yılı değişkenlerinde anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur. Ayrıca çalışmamızda, zihinsel dayanıklılık ve başarı motivasyonu arasındaki korelasyona ilişkin verilerde ise Türkiye Ampute Futbol Süper Ligi'nde oynayan sporcuların zihinsel dayanıklılık ve başarı motivasyonu arasında anlamlı ve pozitif yönde bir ilişkinin olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. The aim of the search is to examine the relationship between the mental toughness and success motivation of amputee athletes who are attached to the Turkish Physically Disabled Sports Federation and struggle in the Turkish Amputee Football Super League and to find out whether there is a significant difference according to various variables. The population of the search; While 280 amputee athletes from 13 teams competing in the Turkish Amputee Football Super League, which is attached to the Turkish Physically Handicapped Sports Federation, constitute the sample; It consists of 177 athletes choosen by random sampling method according to the sample test and based on voluntariness. In our research; Personal information form to determine demographic characteristics (Age, Marital Status, Education Level, Years of Playing Sports, Years of Working with a Trainer), Mental Endurance Inventory in Sports developed by Sheard and his friends ,adapted to Turkish by Altıntaş and Korunç, and developed by Wills, by Tiryaki and Gödelek. The Sports-Specific Achievement Motivation Scale adapted into Turkish was used.. SPSS 22 package program was used in the analysis of the data. According to the kurtosis and skewness coefficient values, it was accepted that the research data exhibited a normal distribution. The t-test was used for pairwise comparisons between groups, the Anova test for multiple comparisons of more than two, and the LSD test to find significant differences between groups. As a result, while the mental toughness levels of the participants did not show a significant difference according to the demographic variables, a significant difference was found in the variables of age, years of doing sports and years of working with the same trainer according to sport-specific success motivation. Furthermore, in our study, it was concluded that there is a significant relationship between the mental endurance and success motivation of the athletes playing in the Turkish Amputee Football Super League in the data on the correlation between mental toughness and achievement motivation.
