TOPLUMSAL STRES VE ŞİDDET SALGINI ALTINDA SAĞLIK ÇALIŞANLARI

Abstract

Stres ve şiddetin tarihi çok eskilere dayanmaktadır. Bu olgular gelişen ve değişen dünya dinamikliğiyle çeşitlilik kazanmakta ve neticeleri yönünden de tehlikeler içermektedir. Stres ve şiddet unsurları dünya genelinde ciddi bir problem haline gelmiştir. Bundan ötürü bu unsurlara maruz kalarak hizmet sağlamaya çalışan sağlık personellerinin durumları bu çalışmanın yapılmasını gerekli kılmıştır. Çalışma, stres ve şiddet unsurlarını derinlemesine inceleyerek aynı zamanda da sağlık alanına yönelmiş olan şiddeti pek çok faktör üzerinden teorik olarak (literatür taraması, kuramsal açıklamalar, istatistikler, görseller vb. gibi) açıklığa kavuşturma gayesini taşımaktadır. Bu çalışma neticesinde, şiddet durumunun sağlık çalışanları üzerinde yoğunlaşmış olmasının oldukça endişe verici bir hal aldığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Sağlık çalışanları maruz kaldıkları şiddet nedeniyle yoğun stres altında kalmakta ve mesleki tükenmişlik yaşamaktadırlar. Bundan ötürü de şiddete dair dünya genelinde ve Türkiye özelinde bir takım önleyici faaliyetler yürütülmektedir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Saldırganlık, Sağlık çalışanları, Stres, Şiddet, Tükenmişlik.

The history of stress and violence goes back a long way. These phenomena are diversifying with the dynamics of a developing and changing world and are dangerous in terms of their consequences. Stress and violence, have become a serious problem worldwide. Therefore, the situation of health personnel trying to provide services by being exposed to these factors made it necessary to conduct this study. The study, aims to examine the elements of stress and violence in depth and at the same time to clarify the violence directed towards the health field theoretically (literature review, theoretical explanations, statics, visuals etc.) through many factors. As a result of this study, it was revealed that the concentration of violence on health workers has become quite alarming. Healthcare workers are under intense stress due to the violence they are exposed to and experience professional burnout. For this reason, a number of preventive activities are carried out worldwide and in Turkey in relation to violence. Keywords: Aggression, Health workers, Stress, Violence, Burnout.
