ORTAOKULLARDA GÖREV YAPAN YÖNETİCİLERİN POZİTİF YÖNETİM YAKLAŞIMLARININ ÖĞRENCİ BAŞARISINA ETKİSİ

Abstract

Pozitif psikoloji, insan yaşamını güzelleştirmeyi ve ona anlam kazandırmayı, yeteneklerini geliştirmeyi, insanların güçlü ve olumlu özelliklerini vurgulamayı amaçlayan bir yaklaşımdır. Kişisel olarak, insanların olumlu özellikleri incelenir. Bunlar; beğenme, cesaret, toplumsal ilişkiler, estetik duyarlılık, sebat, affetme, özgünlük, ileri görüşlü, maneviyat ve doğal yetenek gibi konulardır. Pozitif yönetim dikkatimizi olumsuzluktan olumluya, olumludan daha olumluya ve yapıcılığa yönlendirmektir. Olumlu yönetim yaklaşımını benimseyen bir yönetici, gereksiz gelgitlerle uğraşmak yerine sorunun çözümüyle ilgilenir. Pozitif Yönetim, bir insanın her durumunda olayların olumlu tarafına bakmalıdır. Sorunları değil nedenleri çözebileceğimizi anlamalıdır. Bu araştırmada, öğretmenlerin algı ve kanaatlerinden yola çıkarak, ortaokullarındaki pozitif yönetim anlayışının okul başarısı üzerindeki etkisini ortaya koymak amacıyla yapılan ilişki arayıcı betimsel tarama modelidir. Bu araştırmanın evrenini, 2017 – 2018 eğitim – öğretim yılında Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Siirt, Adıyaman, Van ili sınırları içerisinde bulunan ortaokullarda görev yapan öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise aynı bölge ve eğitim döneminde görev yapan toplam 327 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Anketin uygulanması neticesinde elde edilen veriler SPSS 22.0 for Windows paket programında analiz edilmiştir. Pozitif yönetim yaklaşımı anlayışı ile okul başarısı arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek amacıyla, basit regresyon Analizi uygulanmıştır. Deneklerin ifadelere verdikleri yanıtlar 0.05 anlamlılık düzeylerine göre değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma grubunun, kişisel ve mesleki değişkenlerine göre dağılımını ortaya koymak amacıyla frekans ve yüzdelik hesaplamalar yapılmıştır. Pozitif yönetim puanı ile başarı puanları arasına regresyon ve boyutlar arası istatistikler korelasyon analizi yapılmıştır ve p<0.05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Okul yöneticileri ve öğretmenlerin; yeteneklilik, pozitif düşünmelerin, sabırlı olmaları, özgüvenli olmaları, problem çözme. Öğrencilerin bireysel özelliklerinin bilinmesi, öğrencileri güvenmesi, Okuldaki adil yönetim anlayışı öğrencilere karşı affedici ve hoşgörülü, öğrencilerin başarılarını takdir etmeleri, gelecekten umutlu, üretken, gelişime açık, sosyal sorumluluk bilincine sahip olmaları okulun başarısı artırmada anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Araştırma sonuçlarından elde edilen bulgulara göre, pozitif yönetim anlayışını benimseyerek okulu yöneten okul yöneticilerinin bulunduğu okullardaki okul kazandırma oranının daha yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. The Effect of Positive Management Approaches of School Administrators who Work in Secondary Schools on Student Success Positive psychology is an approach that aims to beautify and give meaning to human life, to develop their abilities and to emphasize the strong and positive characteristics of people. Personally, the positive characteristics of people are examined. These; liking, courage, social relations, aesthetic sensitivity, persistence, forgiveness, originality, forward-thinking, spirituality and natural talent. Positive management is to direct our attention from negative to positive, from positive to more positive and constructive. A manager who adopts a positive management approach, instead of dealing with unnecessary tides, deals with the solution of the problem. Positive Management should look at the positive side of events in every situation of a person. He should understand that we can solve the causes, not the problems. In this study, based on teachers' perceptions and convictions, the relationship between positive management understanding in secondary schools and the aim of revealing the effect on school success is a descriptive search model. The universe of this research is composed of teachers working in primary school in Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Siirt, Adıyaman, Van province in 2017 - 2018 academic year. The sample of the study consists of 327 teachers working in the same region and education period. The data obtained as a result of the application of the questionnaire were analyzed in SPSS 22.0 for Windows package program. In order to determine the relationship between positive management approach and school success, simple regression analysis was applied. The responses of the subjects to the statements were evaluated according to their significance level of 0.05. In order to determine the distribution of the research group according to personal and professional variables, frequency and percentage calculations were made. Correlation analysis was performed between regression and dimensions between positive management score and achievement scores and p <0.05 was accepted. School administrators and teachers; ability, positive thinking, patience, self-confidence, problem solving. To know the individual characteristics of the students, to trust the students, to understand the fair management in the school forgiving and tolerant towards the students, students' appreciation of their success, hopeful future, productive, open to development, social responsibility awareness was found to increase the success of the school. According to the findings of the research, it was seen that the rate of schooling was higher in the schools where the school administrators who adopted the school by adopting a positive management approach.
