Use of cauda epididymis extract for immunocontraception in male rats

Abstract

In veterinary medicine, especially in pet animal breeding,, contraception is very important. Many methods are being applied for both male and female animals for this purpose including hormonal and surgical methods . Immunocontraception is one of the approaches studied extensively (Naz, 1999; Frayne and Hall, 1999). Results of our previous study with female rats prompted us to extend our study with. male rats. Effect of triple Cauda Epididymis Extract (CEE) injection for immunocontraception in male rat is reported.
