FEN BİLGİSİ ÖĞRETMEN ADAYLARININ ÇEVREYE YÖNELİK TUTUMLARI VE ÇEVRE BİLİNCİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Bu araştırmada Fen Bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının çevreye yönelik tutumları ve çevre bilinci betimsel tarama modeli çerçevesinde incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın örneklemini 2022-2023 eğitim-öğretim yılında Fırat Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenliği bölümünde 4. sınıfta öğrenim gören 22 kız 8 erkek olmak üzere toplam 30 Fen Bilgisi öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak "Çevresel Tutum Ölçeği" ve "Çevre Bilinci Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırma, fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarıyla çevre eğitimi dersi aldıkları süreçte yapılmıştır. Araştırmada öğretmen adaylarının çevreye yönelik tutumları ve çevre bilincinin hangi düzeyde olduğu, bunların cinsiyet, anne ve baba öğrenim durumlarına göre farklılık gösterip göstermediği incelenmiştir. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 22.0 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırma bulgularına göre, Fen Bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının çevreye yönelik tutumları ve çevre bilincinin cinsiyet, anne ve baba öğrenim durumu açısından istatistiki olarak anlamlı bir fark bulunmamıştır.

In this research, the attitudes of Science teacher candidates towards the environment and environmental awareness were examined within the framework of the descriptive screening model. The sample of the study was collected in the 4th Science Teaching department of the Faculty of Education of Fırat University in the 2022-2023 academic year. a total of 30 science teacher candidates, including 22 girls and 8 boys, are studying in the classroom. "Environmental Attitude Scale" and "Environmental Awareness Scale" were used as data collection tools. This research was conducted with pre-service science teachers during the process in which they took an environmental education course. In the research, the attitudes of teacher candidates towards the environment and the level of environmental awareness, whether they differ according to gender, maternal and paternal educational status were examined. SPSS 22.0 package program was used in the analysis of the data. According to these research findings, there was no statistically significant difference in the attitudes of Science teacher candidates towards the environment and environmental awareness in terms of gender, maternal and paternal educational status.
