EBA PLATFORMUNDAKİ KAVRAM HARİTALARI VE İNFOGRAFİKLERİN KULLANIMINA İLİŞKİN ÖĞRETMEN VE ÖĞRENCİ GÖRÜŞLERİ

Abstract

Eğitimde teknolojinin kullanılmasıyla beraber birçok ülke eğitime teknolojik yatırımlar yapmaya başlamıştır. Bu doğrultuda ülkemizde de eğitim ve öğretimde fırsat eşitliğini sağlamak ve okullarımızdaki teknolojiyi iyileştirmek amacıyla FATİH Projesi başlatılmıştır. FATİH Projesinin içerik ihtiyacını karşılamak için EBA (Eğitim Bilişim Ağı) sosyal eğitim platformu kurulmuştur. Öğretmenler ile öğrencilerin EBA platformunda bulunan kavram haritalarını ve infografikleri kullanımını incelemek amacıyla ilişkisel tarama modeline göre bu çalışma yapılmıştır. EBA platformundaki kavram haritaları ve infografiklerin tasnifi için doküman incelemesi yapılmıştır. Şanlıurfa ili Eyyübiye, Haliliye ve Karaköprü ilçelerindeki öğretmen ve öğrenciler amaçlı örnekleme göre seçilmiştir. Araştırmaya 370 öğretmen ve 383 öğrenci katılmıştır. Veriler SPSS programında analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre hem öğretmenler hem de öğrenciler EBA ile derslerin daha zevkli ve akıcı geçtiğini ifade etmiştir. Kavram haritalarından ve infografiklerden elde edilen veriler birbirine benzerlik göstermiştir. Kavram haritaları ve infografikler kısmen kullanışlı bulunmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda EBA platformunda yeteri kadar kavram haritası ve infografiğin bulunmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin platformda var olan kavram haritalarını ve infografikleri kullanım düzeylerinin düşük olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Öğretmenlere içerik üretimi hususunda hizmetiçi eğitim verilmesi ve öğretim programındaki kazanımlara göre sistematik bir şekilde kavram haritası ve infografik hazırlanması ayrıca platformda mevcut bulunan kavram haritalarının ve infografiklerin sınıf seviyelerine, derslere ve konulara göre tasnif edilip kategorilere ayrılmaları önerilmiştir.

Many countries have started to make technological investments in education after the use of technology in the field of education. In this direction, the FATIH Project was initiated in our country in order to provide equality of opportunity in education and training and to improve the technology in our schools. EBA (Educational Informatics Network) social education platform was established to meet the content requirement of FATIH Project. This study was conducted to investigate the use of concept maps and infographics found on the Educational Informatics Network platform (EIN) of teachers and students according to relatoinal screening model. Document review have been done for classification of the concept maps and infographics in the EBA platform. Teachers and students from Şanlıurfa province Eyyübiye, Haliliye and Karaköprü districts are recruited to the study according to simple purposive sampling. 370 teachers and 383 students are participated in this study. All data analysed on Statistical Package for the Social Sciences program. According to the findings obtained in the research, both students and teachers stated that the lessons were more enjoyable and fluent with EBA. The data obtained from the concept maps and the infographics showed similarities. Concept maps and infographics are found to be partially useful. It has been determined that there is not enough concept map and infographic in the EIN platform at the results of study. Teachers' usage levels of concept maps and infographics available on the platform were found to be low. It is recommended to provide in-service training about content production for teachers and to prepare concept map and infographic in a systematic way according to the achievements in the curriculum. It is also suggested that the concept maps and infographics present on the platform should be classified according to class levels, lectures and topics and divided into categories.
